"As a Mum and someone who has studied and worked in childcare with children it seems silly to me when grown adults get jealous in life over little things even as simple as a colour, I have always thought even as an artist; When you copy someone else you rob yourself from the ability and the power of your own choices and you loose something that's more than significance and individuality.
If you look at all of the colours that God made for us to enjoy, why would you want to rob yourself of making your own choices in life?
could you imagine looking at a colour chart of the colour shades for say; orange and waiting for a person to choose a colour that they like and looking for where they point their finger before making your choice and letting someones else's likes lead the choices for your life or for a car or a bed room or your closet?
Copying is like deciding to paint your bedroom for you ,and letting someone in the paint shop point to a colour and make your choice for you. Wouldn't you want to look at all of the colour variations and decide for yourself and make your own choice? It really makes jealousy its self seem pretty silly; in contrast of all colours, shades, variations.
I couldn't imagine wanting someone to make my choices in life for me or to be waiting on what the next trend is to follow. Artists, designers do seem to be the trend setters of the world where people do draw inspiration from; but as it has been said Life is too short and time moves to quickly in this world to be a copy.
I believe that God made everyone to be so incredibly unique; as humans we find common ground in similarities and as a business person in any company and as a boss, you are always looking for a new product that the consumer, and your personal customers will fall in love with and want to buy, But not everything is about sales and gain; You can not put a price on celebrating a persons individuality or a persons confidence and freedom of self expression.
I woke up this morning with a colour of a wall in mind; thinking about personal projects and renevational designs.
There are so many colour variations to look at and I found myself reflecting on a personal family issue over a song, that really seems so petty in contrast to how beautiful things are in this world.
I am a mum with my fair share of children, I have daughters, three nieces and I have grown up with a sister; so I know first hand about having similar ideas, thoughts, and interests.
I wonder; have you looked at all of the beautiful colours today and this morning in your life.
God gave us the Rainbow as a Promise and in life He is always true to His word. Have you thought about the colours of His love? His Mercy, His Compassion, His Faithfulness; _THE WONDERS OF HIS LOVE.
Some people have been celebrating Christmas in July this year and we have seen this more in the business world; Christmas in July has been sprinkled around shops and in businesses and Christmas really does seem to be in the hearts of people; For those who are looking and for those who want to see it.
The Spirit of Christmas is in the air; and being at the end of July and within the next few months, Christmas will be around the corner:
Would you let your whole year slip by, letting other people live your life for you and make your decisions on your behalf?
Maybe boldness and bravery is what you need and are what you are looking for?
To choose your own colour and paint your own wall in the colour that *you want. For you and no one else.
To really ask your self what colour do *I* like?
I was in a shop with my daughters yesterday and a sales lady asked me if she could help me?
I've been in sales before and I was required to do that a lot, to offer assistance; However sometimes when you are shopping and your are fully immersed in the experience of looking at things,
this approach can come across to the buyer, sometimes as rude or being rushed to the register and rushed to make a purchase,.
Sometimes I myself, am taken back by the presumption and notion its self, that a person who does not know me, or the person that I may be buying a gift for; could help me choose something or want to help me spend my money.
Shopping for yourself or even buying a gift for someone else requires sometimes a lot of thought and a lot of heart, reflecting on a loved ones personality, interests and memories to buy that perfect gift; and not everyone wants to feel rushed to the counter or rushed out of a shop; however I do understand the busyness of business.
All the way through life people can offer help, but it is not always helpful and whilst it is well meaning; they do not always know or understand the heart of the matter."
