Countdown to Opening Day [17/30]
Baltimore Orioles | American League
333 W Camden St Baltimore, MD
Good Lord. So due to just about everyone I know ranting and raving about baseball lately (and currently on facebook), I decided to actually tune in to the last bit of the current O's and Yankee playoff game. Been watching maybe 5 minutes, and already know why I don't normally watch this junk on tv.
Check Out Charm City: Weekend Guide
You have quite a few options for how to spend this summer Friday night -
Baltimore Food Trucks will be gathering at Stratford University (210 S. Central) from 5-10PM this evening to serve the fine folks of Little Italy.
The Oriole's will be giving out Matt Weiters Orange Replica jerseys to the first 15,000 fans who attend tonight's 7:05PM game - maybe that will be some inspiration to not get too lost amongst the Boh's at Pickles.
Mr. Greengenes will be rocking Power Plant Live as a part of their free Friday Night Live! series. Show goes on at 8PM.
Wrap up your weekend with some more free swag from Camden Yards, the first 20,000 fans to Sunday's game will receive an O's Cartoon bird cap.
Beer & Baseball
There is nothing better than enjoying a cold beer on a hot day, especially when catching a baseball game. At Oriole Park at Camden Yards, they even have gluten free Red Bridge beer for those that don't want to miss out on the fun. There are also numerous g-free food options at the park. Go O's! The Orioles beat Kansas City, 8 - 2.

Check Out Charm City: Mother's Day Guide
If you haven't remembered yet, Sunday is Mother's Day! Whether you are celebrating your mother, as a mother or because you could be considered the "mother" to your dog, here are some things to do around Baltimore -
Not one for a card and flowers? The O's are taking on the Rays at 1:35PM at Camden Yards. The first 10,000 women will receive an orange Mother's Day Sun Hat. Let's hope it stays sunny!
Always wanted to check out the inside of those adorable Fells Point homes? The 41st annual Fells Point Historic House tour takes place from 11 to 5PM. The self-guided walking tour includes about a dozen houses. Tour programs can be picked up at the Fells Point Visitor Center or Long & Foster. A wonderful way to get a sneak peak into your dream home.
Forget getting brunch reservations at the new "it" restaurant and crappy flowers at the local Safeway, head to the Baltimore Farmer's Market for fresh eats, produce and let your Mom pick out her own flowers!
