so.  it’s snowing again.  

i’m not sure why, since i have what i need to be OK, but this winter storm Orlena has affected my mental health so much.

Some background characters for each school in the AU! 11 of them OCs, one is actually semi-canonical. More below!

ALFEA STUDENTS

Luan Fonteazur: Fairy of Lunar Tides (water+light), 4th year student, Sirenix Fairy. He’s essentially my self-insert which also why he’s mostly just a BG character. He’s supportive but impatient, and can explode on someone if sufficiently annoyed. Likes to draw. He got Sirenix during summer break between his 3rd and 4th year, completing the quest in around a month and a half (which is fast for an Enchantix magi). He’s Solarian-Serenian, and half Orc.

Yvonne Antonov: Fairy of Heat (fire), 3rd year student, Glamourix Fairy. She’s an energetic girl, who has a bad habit of running everywhere, usually crashing into someone or something. She lost her arm after it got chopped off during the siege at Alfea, and while it’s very easy to reattach it thanks to magic, it kinda got disintegrated right after it was cut, so prosthetic it is. She’s Zenithian and human, and also one of Diaspro’s dorm-mates.

Carmen Hakim: Fairy of Blue Skies (wind), 5th year student, Energix Fairy. A sweet mature girl, she can often be seen studying in the library or in the courtyard. She likes subtly messing with people with stuff like pointless riddles and stuff. She’s Andrian, and also an Elf.

Erio Lockhart: Fairy of Pulses (sound+healing), 3rd year student, Enchantix Fairy. He’s the resident himbo of the school, a sweet if kinda dumb guy that tries his best. He’s a full-on healer and helped a lot during the Siege. He’s an Orc that comes from the Fatue region of Magix.

TORRE NUVOLA STUDENTS

Horace Praoran: Witch of Resonance (sound+metal), 4th year student, Glissandix Witch. He’s a quiet man despite his powers, and mostly just talks to others about class or events related to the schools. He’s the best listener of his year though. He’s from Hoggar, and is also Drakian.

Lucrezia Lazulia: Witch of Rivers (water), 2nd year student, Glamourix Witch. She’s a bubbly woman with good grades and a finger in the weirdest gossip of CT. Not the best or the most interesting, but the weirdest. No one knows why she knows what she knows. She’s human and from Quarzis. (She’s the sole canon character in all this - she’s from the Thinly Disguised Drug Metaphor issue from the comics.)

Orlena Citronet: Witch of Autumn (wind+plants and some earth), 5th year student, Energix Witch. She’s a girl with a perpetual bored expression, and she only talks when asked or to drop not fun facts on convos out of nowhere. She has a garden in her room. She’s from the Barria district on Magix and also a Leprechaun.

Finn Dorwenoi: Witch of Ivy (plants + poison), 3rd year student, Arborix Witch. He’s a chill dude, usually just laying around not doing much, but has quite the knowledge on Magica City’s history and locales. He comes from Serenia and is part Merfolk.

FONTEROSSA STUDENTS

Xue Lin: Melodian human, weapon is flails. She’s a brash but nice woman who leads Team 5E. She used to know Musa as kids but hasn’t kept up with her for years so she doesn’t really recognize her.

Guadalupe Armonía: Lynphean dwarf, weapon is sword. She’s Team 5E’s heart and soul, and also their main frontliner. She’s a sweet woman with a kind heart that will easily destroy anything that gets in her or her team’s way during battle.

Fiorella Loumerte: Esperian drakian-orc, weapon is bow and arrow. Team 5E’s ranger, she’s an easygoing lady who mainly focuses on the now than in the future. She lost her leg as a kid and her armor suit comes with an equally armored prosthetic so her normal one doesn’t get damaged in combat.

Julian Galahaed: human, comes from the Streig district in Magix, weapon is boomerang. A shy and quiet man, he’s part of Riven’s former team (Team 4T), and is still dealing with the fallout of Riven and the rest. He still tries to keep contact with Riven but he ends up ghosting him more often than not since Riven doesn’t really want to do anything with his former team.

6. How do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks? Annabelle: She wears it down and it's shaggyyyyy. She cuts it from time to time using a knife either using the reflection in puddles or no reflection at all. She only cut it so doesn't get in the way when using her bow and to keep lice away

12. How long have they been around? do you know their birthday? is their birthday the day you made them or another day? what do they think of celebrating birthdays? Callista: She's currently 37 years old. Her birthday is April 21th which is just another day. Her birthday has never been important to her. When she was alive she used it as an excuse to go out, do some networking and drink more/do coke. Once she died, someone convinced her that her birthday didn't matter at all and that her deathday was to be celebrated. But since that wasn't a good day for her, she celebrates neither.

14. Are they any good with numbers? Annabelle: Eh, she's never really done math like that Callista: When it comes to pattern recognition of numbers, YES Orlena: Yes, she will use it during cards or dice lol
