(2023) Made a rocker goat, his name is Ornery :3
He funnels his rage into his music cause he spent too much of his life bottling it all up.
Well, all I remember is we all got ornery.
(Uncanny X-Men Volume 6 #7)
you are just a despicable girl who does not care about anyone.
if I’d ask someone to describe me this is exactly what I want to hear like that’s so me
Maybe I'm just tired of being single or tired from waking up at 3:45a-5a the past two mornings overthinking my career, but rant incoming....Here is the shepherd's pie I made the other night. It was scrumptious! This is what matters. Okay, let me explain. What a random celebrity thinks or says doesn't matter. At least it shouldn't to me or any of us. Not their politics, relationships, spiritual beliefs, etc...Although, I personally draw the line at abuse and other such crimes. Their job is to sing, act, play, write, or whatever. And it's our choice to enjoy or not. Idolizing these regular people who are talented in a field that happens to be lucrative and highly visible is not healthy. I know this one special education teacher who is ridiculously creative, empathetic, patient, and resilient from a previous job. I witnessed this up close for 3 years. SHE should be an icon. Instead, we make actors, singers, and athletes into mini-gods. Ew. Anyway, I'll save my adoration for people I actually know and sometimes fictional characters 😉
An ornery old cuss
The Word of the Day is “ornery.” I used it to describe my friend, who just underwent knee surgery. I told him he was too ornery to follow doctor’s orders to rest and recuperate.
When I called him ornery, I used it in its common sense of cantankerous, irritable, stubborn and grouchy. But that’s not always what it meant. “Ornery” is just a regional variant of the word “ordinary” that showed up in the American South in the early 1800s. If you were ornery back then, you were ordinary, commonplace, nothing special.
Over time – and it didn’t take a whole lot of time – ornery started to mean not just ordinary, but inferior, of poor quality, even coarse, ugly and lazy. From there it was a short jump to easily annoyed and touchy and a quick hop to cantankerous and irritable.
If he has any sense at all, my buddy won’t be making any short jumps or quick hops any time soon. Just take the good drugs and rest that knee, pal.
