“Ow. Ach. Ag,” Zam cursed as her mechanical arm spasmed and a shock went through her body. This was what she got for tinkering without a grounding wire. As soon as she could manage, she tossed the ball of scrap across the room, where it shattered against the wall...right near Rey.

“Oh. Sorry about that,” Zam said. “Didn’t mean to throw it at you. Just meant to throw it at the wall. My bad.” She stood up, her biological arm clutching her still twitching mechanical one. Walking over to Rey, she extended her still-functioning biological hand. “Zam Wesell. Ex-Bounty Hunter, now with the Resistance. You must be the girl everyone’s so happy to have on board. This community, this fandom, has been so welcoming and kind to me, and it's time to pay that forward. She has her messages turned off right now, so let's flood her tags with well wishes. PLEASE stop reading and responding to it. Please just delete it. Please do not take it seriously, to heart, or feel like whoever this is speaks for all of us. They do not. You MATTER. Oh my sweetheart, you matter.

Every single person on this planet, even little shitstains like those anons, they all matter. You were born for a reason. And the world would not be the same without you here.

We all have lost people we miss. We all suffer. But there is also joy. Please do me a favor and hold onto that good stuff. Please seek help if you feel you cannot.

Again, I do not know you, Twilight, but you are a person. And I love everyone. Literally. Even the shit stains that are bullying you, because I feel that in order to survive one another, we must love even the worst people among us.
