Unfortunately, the Coronavirus is also spreading in South Africa🇿🇦. And like most countries, they're starting to close their borders, cancel even existing visas and stopping flights in and out of the country. Especially all foreigners on tourist visas are called upon to leave back to their home countries. At least they're starting the lockdown earlier than European countries, might be less affected later on, but who knows for now? It that also means though, my plan to stay here at least until early May and sit things out in a remote lodge in the Drakensberge doesn't work anymore either😔. All surrounding countries also deny entrance to EU foreigners already, flights are less and with long waiting lists each day; so no choice but to fly into heavily corona-infested Europe😢. At least I can do it in style - with Air France's A380-861. It's my 2nd time to fly with those gentle giants, the first was a Lufthansa A380 flight a couple of years back from Asia to Europe - and I'm really looking forward to it; after all, those giant planes won't fly long anymore since most airlines will replace them with smaller and more economic 2-engine wide-bodies. AIRPORT CRAFT BREWERS - OR TAMBO AIRPORT. Great spot to hydrate before you fly. The beer is just right for my taste palette although I still don’t enjoy dark beers, luckily enough the bulk of the tasting was light beer.
