Gap bands
For those of you who don't know, I have a gap between my two front teeth. It's hugeee.
Anyways. I did some research on gap bands and guys, for the love of god please don't use those if you have a gap. Just get some invisaline.
Gap bands move your teeth too rapidly which can cause damage to the nerves, tissue, gums and blood flow. If the band's slide up into your gums (very common) and you don't fix it, it can cut off the blood supply to the teeth and they can fall out. On the cosmetic side, it can create gaps in new places if you don't know what you are doing. Not only all of that, but usually once the gap is closed so rapidly it can reopen just as fast.
Invisaline is expensive, but it's cheaper than braces. Just save your money and get you some of those.
Do not use gap bands!!!!
