Jordan, 1985. A portrait of a Bedouin woman in Petra. Photographed by Annie Griffiths for National Geographic
someone in my linguistic anthropology class presented on bedouin sign language and said it was an example of palestinian resistance.... that just really rubbed me the wrong way because the bedouin are not palestinian. they're their own group. idk anyone else have thoughts on this? am i being crazy?
