Daan never leaves your side. He's like a clingy old street cat, grumpy as hell, but always by your side. Grateful for steady pets, but scratches when you try to rub under his head or belly, to get under his skin, to drink his own sorrow. Too much, too intimate, just not yet, get. The Hell. Away.
But he lays his head on your shoulder, comforting himself.
Daan doesn't need your help to get through, just your presence here heals him bit by bit already.
Levi's hands tremble as he holds a gun. He trembles when his slim figure steps in front of yours to shield you from the dark of dungeon. He's a Duchshund - big heart in a small body. He's here to protect, to track down, to follow till his legs can't stand anymore. But he needs to be shielded too. To be held, to be pet, to be supported no matter how many times he takes the wrong way, how many times his hands shake trying to get another dose.
Marcoh never speaks up, never cares too much, never acts out of routine. But he's always here, always by your side, always eager to make it further through the city, like a Noble Deer to lead his pack. Someone to stand out, to provide piece and protection... But who's hands are covered with blood, not of competitors, but of someone who got with him in a fair fight. Not so noble anymore? And you still trust him with your life?
His hands tighten around someone's neck till they can't breathe anymore, only to let you breath and be safe one more day. Fair price, he decides as he leads you further through the city, to the tower.
O'saa doesn't let you get closer to his territory. He observes you from afar, like a goshawk, not letting you cross the border. You might, just to help in a fight or to exchange knowledge, but after that he'll leave to his private zone to rest, to sleep and to go hunting again. With you again? Nice, abnormally nice... He even might get used to it. To cover huge distances with someone by his side.
You both circle the city, taking out civilians with precision and avoiding unnecessary battles. Yes, he's really getting used to having someone watching his back.
