CRIMSON: how passionate is your muse about the things they love most?
Tony has Strong Feelings about things, especially things that he loves and wants to protect the most - his daughter, his partner, Peter, his friends. If there’s a clear target or obstacle - be it an enemy or something trivial like “no one’s ever invented a set of leg braces that can actually rectify as spine injury”, Tony’s not going to stop at making sure that he conquers that challenge, smashes it into the ground, tromps all over it and stakes it through the heart.
However, Tony has always had to chose between that and the other thing that he loves but doesn’t really know that he does - which is his idealism. It would be easy if he didn’t have a family, didn’t have anything to lose, if all the enemies were on the other side and all he needed to do was kick the big purple guy in the face. But unfortunately, he has had to choose, and sometimes that choice has meant doing the harder thing of rejoining the fight even at the expense of being with his family. It’s an impossible, heart breaking choice, but Tony would like to hope that choosing to defend Earth over staying behind like Pepper would have wanted him to doesn’t make him any less passionate about his family.
After all, the hardest choices require the strongest of wills.
CHARTREUSE: if you had to describe your muse with a color, what color would it be and why?
Hot rod red. It’s the colour that Tony chose for the Iron Man suit. It’s the colour of blood, which he’s shed over and over again. And it’s the colour of passion, of love, of war, of anger, of danger -- all of which have been an integral part of Tony’s life.
