so excited for the oscars! my boy PTA is finally going win some oscars! I'm hoping if One Battle wins best picture we can get a 4k or blu ray release with some special features! (there's a rumored steelbook release that was supposed to come out early March but was sold out way before that, no info since so who knows if it will come out but that was supposed to have a bonus disk so hopefully that happens and I can buy before it sells out)

The oscars stay being interesting. Conclave winning best ensemble at SAG with BAFTAS vs Anora winning PGA and DGA so now I'm thinking maybe best picture conclave and director Sean Baker. Timmy getting best actor at SAG is interesting I hope he wins so it's not the Leo years and years not your time yet giving all these amazing performances. but brutalist maybe winning nothing is interesting but also the hate for it made it being my type of movie less interesting. Still need to see it but all the hate for it being long and having an intermission and being pro art leading to the stupid ai drama just made me less interested because I just don't care to be part of those arguments with any level of passion star wars really ruined online film debate for me.
