I want to share some interesting Yin-Yang facts that not many people know or pay attention to! I will also include photos as evidence for my facts so you KNOW they're not just slop I came up with! Of course this will be a long one as I love talking about Yin-Yang! Especially to other people! Enjoyyy ♡🍬
Fun fact #1!!
Did you know Yang is afraid of merry go rounds? It's stated by Cabby that Yang is terrifed of merry go rounds in her Exit Interview!
It is also stated in Yin-Yang's Exit Interview as a question!
I find this very funny and it explains why Yang told Yin he was "Going too far" in episode 9 of season 3 when he himself is an embodiment of chaos!
Fun Fact #2!
It is well known that Yin-Yang loves Hatsune Miku, but did you know their voice actor, Marco Bonomo, also loves Hatsune Miku? Marco Bonomo has 222-223+ Vocaloid covers total on his second YouTube channel, Spaghetti2222. On the same channel, it is scene that he has been playing and or into the Project Diva fandom for around 12 years! Most of the people I've told this to actually never realized their VA loves Miku just as much, which is why I consider this a lesser known fact!
Fun Fact #3!
There's a headcanon by Marco that Yang likes battle shonen animes while Yin prefers horror animes, but, Yang has a secret liking for romance animes too! It's also stated in the same headcanon that Yang is actually scared of the animes Yin watches, so usually the two just watch what Yang wants to watch!
Fun Fact #4
Yin-Yang actually wasn't supposed to be on Inanimate Insanity! Their spot was supposed to be taken by Tune, another character that was recommended by Marco in BFDIA, but the Inanimate Insanity team had said that Yin-Yang was a better character! I find that really awesome, cause although we didn't get Tune, Yin-Yang probably wouldn't even be a known character if it wasn't for the II team!
Fun Fact #5!
Throughout Inanimate Insanity, Yin is represented by blue and Yang by red! There are multiple scenes throughout II and III where Yin is blue and Yang is red. This is likely because of water and Dr Fizz being blue and red. But it can also be seen with Yin being the peace of the two while Yang is the chaos of the two.
The background of this scene uses hints of blue and red that aren't noticed often because the main focus is Yin and Yang (mainly Yin)
In the comic "Butterflies" Yin and Yang are shown with blue and red backgrounds indicating who is speaking in the moment!
