'My Deer Friend Nokotan' just didn't work for me. It's a gag manga about a girl trying keep up a perfect reputation (despite a checkered past) and the antlered deer girl she meets, who keeps drawing them into more and more strange situations. I feel like it's just trying too hard; there's a constant ratcheting-up of kooky behavior and gags that seem like there's no confidence in the ability for the already-strange set-up to be funny. So yeah, I don't feel any need to follow up with this.
