KRÜGER & KROGH
By Kabícek Skandfer Agdestein
Bjarte Agdestein, Change Skandfer and Ronald Kabícek had worked together for years as animators, but in 2014 they released their first Krüger & Krogh comic book, Focal Point of Oslo. While the three collaborate on every part of the process, Agdestein—the only one of the trio with previous cartoon experience—concentrates on the drawings, Skandfer and Kabícek are primarily focused on developing the story for this popular Norwegian series recounting the adventures of secret intelligence agency operatives Jacob Krüger and Otto Krogh. Set in the early ’60s the agents are tasked with solving inexplicable cases beyond the scope of police expertise. In 2015 the trio worked on a project decorating the Oslo waterfront with 13 illustrations from Krüger & Krogh missions, showcasing changes in both lifestyle and Oslo’s urban landscape over the past 50 years. @krugerkrogh @visitoslo
