"Don't touch that! Get your gross hands off it!" Sephiroth quickly swiped his journal away from the other boy. He dusted off his journal as if the boy had dirtied it by merely touching it.

"Who do you think you are, touching MY belongings? You shouldn't even dare think about looking at it, let alone touching it!" He held out his hand to him. "You should reimburse me for nearly ruining it with your dirty hands."

"So wait what you're saying is this isn't Japan?!" The brightness the boy was giving off might as well rivaled Kaguya's which was impressive in itself. What wasn't was hearing the answer to her other question, confirming any fears she did have.

"Then why does it look all so, you know, like it." As if cities couldn't exist anywhere else. "And how do we get back home?"

🌙 "Oliveeeeeer! That's what you said your name was, right?" Kaguya may have been eavesdropping in on the conversations around her in the Ofiucostco as she lingered around the free samples table. They'd been giving out free samples! ...And she'd already taken two, so they were stopping her from having more!

"You wanna be my new best friend and get me a piece of pizza? Hm? Hmm? Hmmmmm~?"

Vash's movement is stilted in this nondescript arcade somewhere in Golden, both hands reaching out clumsily. Seems it's difficult to see through the new flashy glasses he's wearing on his face.

Noticing someone looking his way, the Stampede waves at the kid with both hands, evidently a bit frantic. He wobbles over.

"Hiiii! Hi hi hi. There's a little boy runnin' around here with circle-shaped orange glasses, would you mind helping me find n'stop him, please? We—I, um. Traded glasses with him, n'I kinda thought the guy was joking at the time, but I think negotiations broke down..."

A short blur speeds past them then, shrieking with glee while holding his own new pair of glasses by the frame surrounding his head.

Toji watches the kid point toward the tub of ice cream and instead of ignoring such cries for attention like he normally would, he tilts his head curiously.

"Sure, kid."

He grabbed the teen by the back of his shirt and lifted him up to be eye level with the tub of ice cream.

"Your prayers have been answered."

EVENT: Desert Record: Time to Crash and Burn!

"Is this the promised treasure? I have to admit, I was expecting a bit, well, more." The unlikely trio's footsteps echo off the walls as Lilli's gaze moves from the entrance to the cave ahead of them. One hand rests on her lance, as if expecting danger around every turn. The other holds the strap of her bag, where a tiny blue dragon perches.

"Either the reputation this place has for thrilling adventure and danger is misplaced, or we're exceedingly lucky." Still, her eyes scan for potential danger; after all, she's never been the lucky sort.

"Ah, watch your step, Oliver. The rocks are a bit hard to navigate if you lose your footing, not to mention potential traps..."
