He's soaked to the bone. Nothing a expertly placed DOGGY SHAKE won't fix -- hopefully her dress is dog water resistant!

ㅤㅤㅤ〝 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 〞
ㅤNOT A SOUND. Sheer and utter indignation steals her voice, the audacity of the slight he’s inflicted on her so thoughtlessly dousing her mood with as much of an icy cold shower as that of the actual water now dripping from them both. Stunned gaze dropping down to regard the state of her attire, Rozalin feels immediately filthy beyond compare, because who knows what kind of puddles he’d been rolling around in, wherever he'd been ?!
ㅤㅤㅤ〝 YOU ABSOLUTE SLOVEN ! Have you no understanding of just how long it takes for a gown like this to be properly cleaned and dried ?? 〞
ㅤNot that Rozalin would have any extensive knowledge of the specifics either, having never borne that responsibility herself, but it is the principle of things !
Now go home, @osuwariis Regain your lost time! Home... Where you are supposed to be... The way you are supposed to be...
"You need not stare so intently at me. I am but an ordinary woman here."
To be of holy blood, meant the capability of sensing a demon's presence. Odd, given the circumstance. To be able to feel Ganon's power, the Demon King, still fighting so hard to break her seal. That told her what this man wasn't. Another vessel for Ganon's presence. No, this was a different matter entirely. The presence of a demon, that wasn't anything she expected to feel again.
Perhaps it came with being in a strange land. The dark presence that haunted her dreams, what was too common for her not to assume as form of prophecy, that was her true motivation. The stream of time was a delicate thing. For once, she need not call upon time's power. Only a ship upon the waves, hardly anything new to her.
To be a princess was to be a diplomat first. A peacemaker, who fought for justice.
Without any movement at all, Zelda was an ethereal beauty.
But with great beauty, came great danger.
Another presence. Stronger, yet the same nature. Demonic. A princess was the lowest of her titles. A title used only in introduction, she saw it as nothing more than responsibility. Being a Sage came first. Protecting not only Hyrule, but the world from Ganon's might would always be most prevalent on her to do list.
And a signature like this, did Ganon have actual demonic minions? Best to deal with the stronger of the two first.
Holy magic came first in situations like these.
Though two sides of the same existence, light would always break through darkness. Just as Ganon himself had been rendered powerless by the full extent of her power, she would make use of this same gift from Hylia herself. An energy like this, she wouldn't even need half of her power.
Brilliant orbs of light, swiftly shot in a direction towards a beast not even in view, the loud cry that followed after clear that she'd struck her target.
And yet...
It wasn't enough?
"Sir, I would suggest you leave now. Clearly, these are more dangerous times than I previously thought."
Diplomacy, peace. Who she believed to be a lesser demon, she would not behave with hostility so long as he gave her the same. Not when she knew it wasn't a minion Ganon would spend any time sending towards her. The presence she felt due north, it was far stronger. Strong enough that even a strike of a Goddess in mortal form had only slowed it down.
In every situation you were forced to fight, calm rationality was most important. Find a strategy, a weak point. Zelda stood firm, heels set on the orange grasses of autumn, even as the wind pulled at her golden hair, the evening sun reflecting off of her golden jewelry.
She'd wait.
If a strike wasn't enough, this was a time of study. To look for an opening for striking the weakest point.

the color drained from her face in an instant. her head ticked in his direction until it just locked in place. she looked as if she was about to scream bloody mercy once again but caught herself before it could be unleashed. her goal was to remain as quiet as possible. she was somehow under the impression that the spider could hear her and would attack her at any given moment if she made too much noise.
❝ what do you mean it’s missing?! spiders don’t just go missing, inuyasha! ❞ kagome whispered hotly, jumping to her feet.
the girl shuffled over to him and clung to the sleeve of his robe. with every step he took, she followed. they were safer with numbers and if she actually was attacked, she hoped he would save her before she was bitten—or just put her down as necessary. she didn’t want to turn into a spider! she shuttered at the thought of it.
❝ we have to find it before it finds us. i’ll never be able to sleep with that thing on the loose. and when we find it, bam! you slay it and i'll find a hiding place...❞
❝ what ? i am not going near that creepy crawler. ❞

She made no effort to keep hold of his arm when it was jerked away. Kids screamed, yōkai were even louder when her arrows pierced them. His outburst left her unfazed, and it wasn't until he offered his arm again that she continued. Kikyō knew it would heal. She knew it always would. She knew even if infected, even a hanyō would be able to fight off infection far more easily than a human.
That didn't mean he didn't feel pain. It didn't mean he didn't hurt during what process it took to heal, and if it did get infected, it didn't mean he wouldn't feel the pain of that, either.
For as much as she had to fight, for the sadness she endured with no hope of ever being allowed what every other woman was, she'd come to acknowledge how much harder it was for him. It wasn't a feeling she'd ever personally understand, only something she could acknowledge easily by how he wanted to be called by name, rather than what he was.
And how she'd told him she'd do just that.
"I'm aware of this, Inuyasha. I carry these herbs in travel outside the village, whether for training, or a threat. I've been in your position right now, more times than I could count. I tend to any wounds, and I keep moving."
She had a lot to guard. Not only here, other locations often requested her assistance for the great power she wielded.
"I only wait if the wound is enough that I cannot walk. If I sat out here like this and waited, it would be too easy for a yōkai to take advantage of that."
Arm cleaned, Kikyō got out her bandages. No, he didn't need them, she knew this. That wasn't going to stop her from bandaging the wound anyway. It wouldn't hurt as badly if it wasn't subjected to direct contact with other things.
"No matter how long it takes for my wounds to heal, I keep fighting. I can handle the pain, I know that as long as I don't cause it to open up again, it'll heal."
A pause in her movements, expression setting into something firm, before her hands continued for the last few rotations around his wound.
"Failure isn't an option, Inuyasha. It never will be."

'I don't get you.'
The daiyoukai simply stared at the other, facial expression unreadable for a time before he turns his attention elsewhere. It was within their nature to be blunt, to the point. The half-breed across from him had done a failed attempt at understanding Sesshomaru. The Western Lord remained silent, until his focus shifts back to his brother, ❝Do you assume that my actions were in the wrong? ❞ Not that he really cared, much, for the hanyou's thoughts but, he had been mildly amused at the statement of 'getting' him. They had their ways of obtaining what they desired, and while InuYasha had not quite stooped to the levels that he himself had, he couldn't say that those actions were not without merit.
There was only one who had understood him without words having to be said. Rin, his ward, just knew what to expect. for that, he was grateful. She understood he was Alpha, and Alpha were not to be questioned. No matter how questionable their motives, decisions or actions.
❝Surely, I had hoped even you would have understood that to acquire what you desire, you must do anything within your power to obtain it.❞

❝ Is there something you wish to say, little brother? ❞

"To be on the opposite side of the spectrum is most certainly not the conditions I am customary to."
There were only two extremes she faced in Hyrule. Either those who blindly followed her, due to her status, or the monsters who sought to put an end to her life, thoughtlessly. They rushed to her, with no self preservation, only for her to strike them down with that same light. Yet here...
It was different. These demonic presences, not only was that unfamiliar in itself, but that they feared her. Perhaps it was the power of the Gods clouding his judgement, the only demonic presence that had been in Hyrule was the Demon King himself, and he showed no fear in her presence.
Even now. Even as she felt the pulse of him desperately trying to break her seal, it wasn't a matter of fear. He was angry, he was vengeful, Ganon wanted her dead for the role she played in keeping his unruly power from spreading not only from Hyrule, but to the world itself.
Heels were soft with each step, every movement like the steady stream of a brook.
"I give them credit, they act on their own accord, rather than blindly following one considered superior in status. Should any who give into that fear make themselves known, I feel assured that a peaceful resolution to such conflicts can be achieved."
Peace was to come first. To fight was self defense, and to take one's life was a last resort. The steadiness of her soft frown didn't change, but neither did her convictions.
"If they can be afraid, those fears can be put at ease. There is no need for senseless bloodshed."
