Don't mean to invade ur askbox but do you have any thoughts on the oswald show concept pieces that got found back in may? The new characters the redesigns and what not?

You mean the 2d one that got cancelled? Because-💥 Why can't we have nice things sometimes?? God the background and world concepts caught me the most from how beautiful it was and how organic it felt. You could really see the characters living around there and all

As for character designs, BIG FAN of the ones on top (DO YOU SEE THAT BAT I LOVE IT SM) But I also like some of the bottom ones like elephant guy, Cliff and dear heavens we're all seeing that elegant bird lady right? What I like most about the designs is the basic thing that they look like animals. Not just people with a black round nose like we're used to see coming from disney (comics I'm looking straight. at. you.)

Last but not least: where's Ortensia? (Or even Fanny) And the bunny children? I mean I get it that putting on too many blue bunnies on screen is a challenge but could you imagine if they're just free around the city and every episode would have a blue little bunny hidden in the background or either popping out of nowhere to help Oswald?

"Wow you have 7 kids?"

"WHAT? No, how crazy is that! I have 420."

And then he'd pull his wallet to show the photos and the wallet keeps on unfolding forever? And he'd just bring it back like a yo-yo and all?

this is wishful thinking or wtvr but like. imagine if the tv series oswald was em oswald but with some sort of curse or amnesia. like hear me out on this. he's living his life in the show but he feels like something is off, like there's something missing. someone. some people, even. sorry i know this isn't gonna happen but let a girl dream, ok

like deadass i wanna see this guy see something so familiar, a paintbrush for example, and he's plagued with deja vu. if he's cursed give him a peculiar dream in someplace he can't recognize but feels just like home. have this silly little rabbit finally remember and feel the hurt of forgetting his closest friends. make little guy go through it. very unlikely, i know.

you guys have to hear me out: i think this is a concept sketch for the oswald show. although it may be for another show, it appears to line up with the oswald show.

found on steve lowtwait's website, it aligns with the roller coaster and the tent seen in footless & fancy free.

Oke accualy a bit more info explained bc I went into a deep dive abt this show weirdly hard and know lots of more in depth stuff

The goose woman is named gloria she was an actress of some kind also a flapper pretty obviously

Ortensia AND fanny were both to appear but outside redesigns the only more in depth info we got was about very VERY different fanny as she was suppoust to ground oswald and not get him let the big city get too to his head (personaly i think it should be the other way around *cough)

They are also implemented to know eachother before/as early as the story starts (also fanny was officialy given green as outfic color in this + was for some reason turned blonde? Tbh i have alot to say abt this fanny but nows not time for negativity from me ik)

The fox (oryginaly named Wilson wolf but now called sneek the cheat) was a duo type villian with the hampster who was sorta his boss, we could accualy see them in the pilot animatic that got found few years ago, from that we guess they were scam artist of some kind

We were also getting a larger villian of some kind who's name i unfortunately don't remember but he was a white Eagle and the correct mayor of the town

Oswald himself was said to never be in a city before i assume he lived at a farm or village of some kind then got to the city with the help of the bloodhound dog we could see in the concept art but thats more of an assumption

We got nothing on the elephant, the police dogs, Outside basics nothing for gloria outside acting and beibg described as a diva and like accual negative info on ortensia

But whats the fandom for if not having fun with what they coudn't?

YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT BLONDE RABBIT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FANNY? AND KEEP OSWALD GROUNDED SO HE DIDN'T GET TOO MUCH INTO THE CITY??

I'll be honest, I don't know Fanny Cottontail that well but even I can tell that this looks like a whole different character

Side note, why would Oswald need someone to keep him "grounded" from the city? Wouldn't it be more fun watching him getting into trouble being his free spirit lucky self AND ONLY THEN learning some life lessons the hard way and so try to be better? (Maybe even his new city friends could try to keep him grounded since they know their way around town and all.)
