Now here's a tale from a Disney character who has appeared so sporadically, he may as well be a phantom.

Toby Bear was a sidekick to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit during the Walt Disney era that continued on into the Walter Lantz era. He existed in the comic era when Oswald actually looked like a rabbit, but was mostly replaced by the kids, Floyd & Lloyd.
