Toby Bear was a sidekick to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit during the Walt Disney era that continued on into the Walter Lantz era. He existed in the comic era when Oswald actually looked like a rabbit, but was mostly replaced by the kids, Floyd & Lloyd. Toby’s first appearance might have been in the The Ol' Swimmin' Hole (1928) short.
