Week 27: Bangtan OT7 Week

In honor of the new release of Map of the Soul: Seven, we’re paying our respects the usual way we do: recs! Since the album is called Seven, this week is all about ot7 - whether it’s all of them dating each other, all of them dating Y/N, or none of them dating and just exploring the friendship between them, it’s ot7 or nothing this week!

hi! just here passing by and having the sudden urge to rec an OT7 fic of mine. It’s actually my first nonsmut work & maybe that’s because I respect every character in it in such a way that I couldnt just smut. It’s about idol BTS and probably living a life of an ARMY. A full on FLUFFANGST & someone just had to comment ‘Ooof dont read this while listening to We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal... 😭’ that’s when I knew I had to recommend it! let’s break all rules &crytogether

Hi! For OT7 week, I'd like to recommend Thesis It! by xherxx. I love how each of the boys is portrayed uniquely, the strength of the OC who has no tolerance for their immaturity, and the whirlwind of drama, sexual tension, and heartwarming interactions that are laced into this fic. On top of that, it is like a super fic of AUs: F2L, E2L, college, band, medical, coworkers, roommates - there's probably more that I'm overlooking here. It's got a bit of everything. And the SMUT... PHEW!

Hi hi! Although it's been recommended already, I would like to add in my two cents for ThesisIt by xherxx with the commentary that it has the perfect blend of fluff, angst and smut!! It also has one of the most realistic transition to OT7 x reader as they all like her but tried to win her over for themselves at first before sharing her because they really did love her and their brothers that much. Also I live for modern!college!au and she managed to deliver it so so well T^T - bangtan-dreamland

For ot7 week, i want to recommend acts of love by gwoongi 🥺 its such a lighthearted read, and it really makes me feel soft inside having ot7 as a stable support system. Reading the fic gives me “damn i want that type of friendship” feeling.

Hello I'm back! The second fic that I'd like to rec by miss honeymoonjin is her Zodiac series! This series was also incredibly well written and kept an air of mystery about it the whole time I read, and much like Dope, I couldn't put it down. I was never able to quite pin down who was the real baddy and who was a secret goody two shoes in the end and that frustrated me (and made sure Sora knew) but I had an incredible amount of fun regardless! 130613/10 would recommend!

And of course I also gotta recommend Black Ties, White Lies by sevenincubistolemyheart. I’m the biggest sucker for a mafia AU, and I really love the world building in this story as well as the development of the plot. It’s an intriguing story with (I think) secrets waiting to be spilled. Also very interesting to see how the reader’s relationship with each member is unfolding.

For OT7, can I please recommend Under Fire by lemonjoonah? The love interests are largely the Hyung line, but all 7 members are integral to the story. And the story is SO good. The slow burn(s)! The suspense! The action! I’m here for all of it. The author really does a great with all of the characterizations, including the MC. She’s a spitfire (😉) and I love her as much as, if not more than, the members!
