The problem of watching Anime (movies)

Do you just remember a Ghibli movie you used to watch, or even Anime movies like Hotarubi no mori e, or five centimerters per second and all the feels come up again and it breaks your fucking heart like a piece of you just died a thousand times and drowned in a ocean of your tears but in the same time you feel happy and are glad that you have actually watched it? It's kinda like losing a good friend and all you have now are the memories of your time together. And no matter how often you watch it; you never get used to the plot twists.
