i feel like otasnake is actually rly sweet even when snake is being gruff like in his weaker moments otacon is always there for him and stuff and they both really understand loss and know that they need each other even if they don't have to acknowledge it out loud and dammit it makes me really emotional that they're each the center of stability in the other's life
