An innocent enough confession, considering the two of them had been together for some time now. There had been moments when they’d been separated of course--duty being the main reason. Moments where they got to be together for more than a week felt far and few, but when they did, Kaaras cherished every moment.
“Yes?” he replied, his ears flicking upward. “And what warrants such a thing?” Was Othaar concerned, or was he merely being sweet? They both had serious jobs, and there was always the fact of knowing Othaar was on borrowed time (Kaaras, too, if the anchor had anything to do with it--of Corypheus). Those were things they did not speak of, though.

Letters upon the Inquisitor’s desk were not uncommon. Some of them were rubbish, easier to be tossed away or burned in the fire, whilst others were set aside to be replied to in haste or comfort depending on their importance. Today, the Warden siegal caught his attention and he flipped over the envelope to see if there was any name addressed other than his own.
When there was not, Kaaras broke the seal and pulled out the small note. The writing was familiar, and he instantly felt a smile spread across his lips, pulling at his cheeks. It meant Othaar was already likely in the castle grounds, just waiting for him to have found this. The cheek of the man...
Kaaras huffed a laugh from his nostrils. Well, he supposed that meant he’d better go find him.

“Just a little while, huh?” Shokrakar chuckled, running his hand up and down Othaar’s back, placing a small kiss onto Othaar’s head.

@dragonageimpostors Tavis made his way up to the library to trace through the few books he hadn’t touched yet. He spent much of the day practicing as well as training other mages and he was exhausted. All he wanted was to find something new to piece through. But he had scoured most of the library already. There were some less than practical books that he found relative interest in. Ones about Orlesian theater and poetry. That was something he never read, so he picked it up and then looked for a seat nearby. He noticed the qunari he had briefly spoken to before, sitting at a table with his nose in the text before him. They hadn’t even had a chance to introduce themselves before so he deigned to approach the man again. The elf stood across from the man, pulling back a chair before taking a casual seat in it. “Fancy seeing you again,” he said, smiling and setting the book in his lap.
