It's so weird how, even thought we're watching the same show or movie, the fandoms are actually not the same everywhere. Because let me tell you: as a person who's native language is german, I watch most of the shows in german because I don't really want to concentrate while watching. And everything's different: like, y'all are writing posts how awesome Sam and Deans deep voices are. But in german? They don't have deep voices. Y'all are writing how in love you're with Benedict Cumberbatchs english accent. Well, of course he doesn't have one in german. Also a lot of jokes that are from the english script are changed in other languages. But from time to time, when I'm really into a new series (like 5 or 7 seasons) I always change to the original english version. And it's like watching a whole different thing! Like, the feeling is completely different. And it's absolutely amazing. Also, one of my favourite games is "Wich voice does this person have?" And it's just ridiculous because 50 minutes into the Avengers you're like "Oh. Hawkeye has the same voice actor as Sheldon Cooper." And I just think that's a part that the English speakers just kinda miss out.
