Does anybody else work backwards when they wanna get into a certain show/movie?
Like i stg i never can just sit and watch a movie or a show, first ill read the fanfics, learn the ships, figure out the lore, then im onto the second phase where im watching clips of the show/movie, ones like “dadadah being the best character for 7 minutes”, then ill learn about the actors, seasons, shit like that AND THEN i procrastinate trying to watch because like it’s so much work for me to begin things 😭
like idk why but it’s so much easier to start something when i already have a feel of the story and their characters even things that people would consider spoilers like a major character death i would not mind knowing because it’s less intimidating when watching yknow; i know a little bit of what to expect.
like it could take me a month or two to finally feel like i can comfortably sit through a episode or 1hour long movie, idk why but it’s the only way i can explain it lmao
