i love tarot, specifically my tarot deck, because i was going to do a silly little kintype reading along the lines of "what's my kintype" oh look a card with cats on it, i'm a cat :3 that type of thing. and 18 cards later and i have a really in depth reading about three chapters of my life through different lives / times / types and i almost cried. it was beautiful. i. i love tarot.

I encountered this at Barnes & Noble. It's not exactly about the otherkin community—the back talks about mystical creatures that are both other and kin to our world—but it's close enough. I ended up not having the money for it, but I was very tempted to buy it.

Some of you may have a hard time juggling life’s responsibilities today. You may be feeling tired, worn out, and exhausted by trying to keep up with everything you are trying to accomplish. This card is telling you that it is time to take a break. Put down whatever you are trying to juggle and use today to rest and recharge. If you don’t take a break, you may be at risk of burn out. You don’t want to add any extra stress or anxiety. So, it is time to slow down and focus on self-care today.

Exercise: What do you do for self-care? Find something that will help you recharge your batteries. Take a long bath. Spend time outdoors. Read a book. Spend the whole day in bed. Whatever it may be, just find some way to get your mind off of your responsibilities that you are trying to juggle.
