At the beginning and end of their rut, the two are more able to be out in public, but that doesn’t reduce their possessiveness they have towards their darling.
At these points, while they may be more ok with you being out in public, they absolutely aren’t going to take their hands off you, and those hands will absolutely wander. You’ll find yourself bright red during meals and any shared study sessions you might find yourself in with their hands sneaking under your shirt or into your underwear. Breaths hot against your ear and you try desperately to keep yourself quiet in case you get caught.
During the middle of their rut, you basically can’t leave their room. At this phase, they perceive any other person approaching you as a challenger to them and their claim over you, anyone who gets too close will be sent to, at best, the infirmary with serious injuries. Not only that, they would have no hesitation in fucking you publicly, so it’s the safer option for all involved.
The week of their rut, the heaviest section of their ‘breeding period’ is by far the most difficult to deal with. It’s a period that’s basically dependant on the weather, moray eels have different breeding seasons depending on the subtype they are, but these periods often last for months, sometimes not even having one spanning the whole year. While in human form, this is condensed into a few weeks when the temperature in optimal and they’re well fed.
During the heat of it, they prefer to be in their merform. They have a tank brought into their room to be able to do this, at some points even dragging you fully under water to the point of nearly passing out. Fighting and struggling doesn’t do much good when you’re wrapped up in their tails while they breed you.
Their claws and teeth leave marks across every part of your body, a thin bruise lining the base of your ribs where they throw you over the side of the tank to stop needing to bring you back up for air while they carry on fucking into you. By the time their ruts are cooling, you look like you’ve been through the wars. Covered in hand shaped bruises, red bitten lips, eyes burning with tears of pain, exhaustion, and overstimulation.
Even when they start to come back to themselves, you’ll be too tired and beaten up to think about going back to classes yet, but that gives them the opportunity to take their mementos. Not that they’ll be needed, since you’ll be close by, but Floyd may just want to take a look at his precious Shrimpy while you’re in class.
Of course, it could be used for blackmail, but with them both being strong, Jade being manipulative, and Floyd being impatient and temperamental, it’s not like they’re going to need it in future, right~?
