How, just wanted to come and ask if you’re okay? I hope this doesn’t cause any sort of pressure or guilt towards you but I just want to know if you’re still alive

Hi all!

First thing first, definitely still alive! Somehow. Physically at least. I promise to be quick, because I don’t wanna sound like I’m just here to complain, but I know the question a lot of you have: Where have you been?

Speaking bluntly, 2024 has been literally the worst year mental health wise for me. I’m not kidding when I say that if I weren’t living with people that I felt the need to play a part of ‘mentally stable’ for, I would’ve easily just rotted away in bed, not even eating. I’ve essentially been emotionally numb for most of it and not even had the mental capacity to open tumblr. So that’s been fun!

Onto more pressing matters though, as I’ve noticed an uptick in notes and questions: What’s happening with the blog?

It is not being deleted, and it’s not being abandoned. Over the past year I’ve come to a few realisations about myself, including coming to terms with the fact I may be less neurotypical than I believed I was. I could joke easily about my quirks, and while I don’t have an official diagnosis so I’m not going to say I for certain have any conditions, I’ve had numerous people who’re officially diagnosed tell me it’s very likely I do have them when I’ve spoken to them about my thought processes and action.

The issue is the way I was trying to keep this blog running on a hyperfixation I’d burned out on. I fell out of love with TW and the way the story was going with it, and my brain was trying to jump onto the next thing, but I felt like I had to keep answering for TW. So I crashed, and I burned. Hard. I didn’t have the energy to write.

This is very hard for me to do, because I feel awful for those who have sent asks, but I think I’m going to have to just completely empty my inbox, I feel like I need a fresh slate, and to step away from TW being my main focus. I wanted to be a variety blog, and while I do think my hyperfixations will normally be the focus, I do want to have more flexibility in my writing to avoid this kind of burnout happening again quickly with requests.

It’s super early here, so my brain isn’t at 100%, but Baldur’s Gate 3, Honkai Star Rail and Genshin are the main 3 pieces of media that immediately come to mind.

I’m not emptying the inbox quite yet, I’ll get some sleep, then scroll through it and see if there’s anything that grabs my attention now that I’m back to hammer out, but it will be being cleared out soon.

Can i get yandere childe, ei and scaramouche (not wanderer. It was when he was still a fatui) where reader kills himself because he can no longer handle all the pressure? So like one day they just came and saw his dead body.

If there’s one thing Childe would struggle with, it’s losing his darling. His loyalty to those he cares for is unmatched by anyone, he is completely self sacrificing for them, and of course you’re among those people. I don’t think he would know how to feel, but his denial period would only be brief, Childe isn’t stupid, and I don’t think he would be delusional over your fate. He would fall more into dissociation, he would zone out more, he wouldn’t be as happy and chipper, and he would keep as much of what was ‘yours’ to remind himself of you, and he has your body taken back to Snezhnaya to be honoured with his family’s tradition, after all, family is what you were, what you still are. Your death has no stripped you of that, in his eyes you will always be his even after death. He will tell his remaining family stories of you and your relationship through rose tinted glasses. While he is well aware of the reality of what your relationship was, he was certain you would come to a point of acceptance, and his younger siblings don’t need to know the reality of it. He wants them to remember you as he enivisioned your future together. Of course, he throws himself into his tasks and battles, completely reckless, dancing with death at every point he can. He knows he can’t die, he needs to be there for his family and the Tsaritsa, but a part of his passion died with you.

Now, Ei would be surprised, and most definitely hurt. Her whole arc is specifically around how badly she deals with loss. But unfortunately for you, you chose the wrong woman to end your life with. Separate souls and bodies are nothing new to her, her own body is a puppet now, remember? In fact, in some ways she prefers it this way. She’s an archon, and your soul could never move to the next plane of existence fast enough, your being still exists but simply has no shell to exist within, which is what would corrode you. But she has done this before, she knows what she’s doing. She could quite literally trap you inside the Plane of Euthymia with her for an eternity, making her inescapable for you. In fact it’s the reason I placed as one of the most dangerous, she goes beyond physical harm, she could quite literally kill you and keep your spirit. Even if, for some reason, your soul was incompatible with the Plane of Euthymia or began to have issues from it, she could literally just build you another body, she has already done so once before. It would only need to have the lowest form of function to store your soul, a puppet chained to the dark, a face void of all features, trapping you in a lonely, silent, void, unable to feel touch, move, speak. It could drive you to the point of insanity. But then there is a glimpse in the darkness, the sound of a breeze, and if you could cry, you would.

“Do you see now what you did to me? Finding you as I did? This is how I felt, how I have felt for centuries before you came. Could you bear it as I have? Do you truly wish to plunge me back into that abyss?”

But you can’t respond, you can do nothing but hear. Over time she gives your body its senses, she gives you eyes and a nose and a mouth, and finally even limbs, so well crafted, so human that if you weren’t aware of your own death you could probably convince yourself that it had never happened. But don’t be mistaken, this body is far from organic, and she suspects you of drifting from her again, abandoning her, she will push you back into that void to remind you that she is your only salvation from it.

Scaramouche...oh my lord, Scaramouche. He’s lost so many people already, he’s been betrayed and abandoned in every way, this feels like well and truly the final blow. He’s would go berserk upon finding your body, this wasn’t natural, you ended your own life to leave him behind. You’re not ‘just like the others’, you’re worse for what you’ve done to him. I could genuinely see how Scaramouche’s twisted love could devolve into hatred for you, because it’s just too painful for him to think about how you betrayed him. He would completely desecrate your body, it would be utterly destroyed in his rage, you would get no grave, he wants to forget about you just as he has all the others. But your memory infects everything, his anger towards you leaks into other faucets of his life, he becomes even worse to work for, he’s more dangerous and on edge, and you become a bigger driving force behind his ascension to godhood. Would his godhood be able to bring you back? Probably not, but it becomes one of his goals - he wants you back? To love? Not for a long time. He wants revenge, he wants to destroy you until you’re less than he ever was, lower than his lowest ever point, until you’re begging for his forgiveness. That is his long term goal.

Genshin idea:

Yandere Traveler…or better yet Yandere Abyss twin with reader?

Aether who found you soon after the fall on Khaenri’ah, so soon after he lost Lumine. Who’s wounds are fresh as he sees the people cursed so unjustly to suffer until their last moment, long after they even lose their sentience and sense of self. He clings to your sympathy and kindness to bandage his pain, relies on you to be able to hold when he needs stability, which he does so desperately, who stays with you while he tries to find his way. But you’re human, with a finite amount of time, far less than his own no matter how he is perceived. While he’s calculating, he isn’t cold. He feels so strongly about everything, that while determined it’s his emotions that spur him on. He needs to keep you, you need to remain with him through this journey, time is not a constant that cannot he changed, leylines, chaotic spaces, Teyvat is a world full of magic and mystery. He’ll avenge Khaenri’ah, he’ll save their people who were wronged so greatly with a heart full of passion, but to keep that burning passion grounded and stable he needs you with him. Even before he became Prince of the Abyss, he was researching pocket dimensions, to suspend you in time so he can remain with you, removing as much risk of harm as he is physically able to, especially other people, none of whom he can trust. A space for simply the two of you until he can lengthen your life to match his own, as it should be. Do not reject him, do not cause him more pain, as time passes perhaps he can take more but until then he is as volatile as the sun he could be seen as. You’ll be ok, today must just be a bad day. Does it really matter how many years have passed? Stop saying you want to leave. He can’t lose anyone else he cares for.

Lumine, who was sure her heart had long since frozen over. Her passion is cold, harsh judgments and hard calculations, there is nothing she wouldn’t sacrifice for her goal of revenge and salvation. Except for you. She’s unsure what it is about you that thawed the smallest corner of her heart, and she tries to deny it for as long as she can, until the dam breaks and she no longer can. Teyvat must fall, but perhaps a small fragment can be saved through your survival she reasons with herself, the foundations of your world are rotten, but that doesn’t mean some fruit can’t be saved from the tree. There’s a comfort she finds in you, even just by your presence, she first caught a glance of you in Mondstadt, a soft smile and gentle aura that she had been longing for for many years is just out of reach. She watches you even as she leads The Loom of Fate, simply observing, waiting for the right moment, waiting for your own fates to intertwine, and they do. She takes you, unconscious and bloody from a Stormterror attack that had nearly crushed you under a tree. Mondstadt, with such a pathetic god, were unlikely to even notice you were missing, or would perhaps simply mark you as deceased with the level of destruction in the woods you were found. The Abyss Order would be where you were nursed, her coldness evident upon every meeting. Your rejection doesn’t matter. She shall show you her kindness, but only when you break, another goal she shall pursue mercilessly until she has succeeded.

I have an idea for you if you accept it... Have you heard about Welcome Home? Well, there's Wally as well as Sunny Day Jack is the protagonist of a children's show, the only difference is that Wally is a factoche (a curiosity: he eats when he blinks, very scary). Well it is if the reader finds Wally's tapes when he is with Jack. Now the poor reader has been teleported through the world of Welcome Home along with Jack, with Wally being a yandere for the reader as well, only Wally never releases the reader into the real world.

I’ve done a little research into Welcome Home, and gotta say I’m not clear on the creator’s stance on...well, anything like this. They said they don’t like ‘objectionable’ content. What does ‘objectionable’ mean? So I’m going SFW because I have no idea what they think is ok and I’m not risking writing something they don’t want posted. If anyone can link me to statements from them about a more concise view of what they do and do not want written, please do because I’m confused.

Now, Jack knows there’s something wrong with those tapes the moment he gets near them, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering he comes from one himself. He can feel that it’s not a normal tape, and he will try he best to persuade you to just get rid of them, they turned up suspiciously, can you really trust it? And you nearly do listen to him, let’s face it after how you met him you’re really not sure you want to be dealing with more supernatural entities, but when you go to throw them away or take them to a charity shop you just...can’t. Physically you can’t, like your body is being held in place, and it’s not like Jack can help since he can only touch you, so the two of you have to settle on the agreement of not ever watching them, because frankly one ghost man is more than enough for you to be dealing with.

And you mean to keep that promise, you literally have no reason to not keep it. Even if you possibly had been curious, with Jack having entered your life is similar circumstances it’s fairly easy to fight said curiosity because who knows what could happen. But...there’s something about those tapes drawing you in. Jack notices, he can see your eyes wander to them when you lose focus. He does his best to distract you and draw your eyes away from them, to keep you focused on the here and now, on him. He wants to regain as much presence as he can so that he can take those tapes away, but unfortunately he isn’t quick enough.

He goes to sort breakfast for the morning, but his gut tells him something isn’t right, and he isn’t going to ignore his instincts. That damn tape is already in the VCR, and he only just manages to grab hold of you before the world fades to black.

He’s on high alert the moment he opens his eyes, which he doesn’t show to you of course, so when you wake up and inevitably freak out over being...wherever this brightly coloured place is, he comforts you. Hugging you, telling you it’s ok and that it isn’t your fault as you realise what happened and begin to blame yourself. Did you want to put the tape in? No? Exactly! Why would he be angry at you for that? Something effected you and made you do it, it’s not your fault Sunshine! He’s just happy that he got there in time so that he’s here to keep you safe!

And it’s while he’s finishing calming you down that Wally appears, welcoming you to the neighbourhood with his ever present smile, his eyes only flash to Jack and they seem briefly shadowed, so briefly you miss it. You don’t really understand why you’re here? That’s ok! They’ll always welcome a new...he means multiple new neighbours!

Hmmmm giving you somewhere to stay is going to be hard for now, there are only so many houses in the neighbourhood after all, but don’t worry! Home will be very happy to have other occupants, he’s sure of it! It’s ok, until you settle down find a way home, you can stay with them! And they could even build you your own house-. Come inside and tell him what happened, he’ll show you around, and of course he’ll listen to you! He loves that voice of yours after all, it quickly becomes his favourite sound.

Jack, of course, goes along with you. The two are smiles and sunshine personalities at each other, neither letting their masks drop, but there’s no denying the tension between the two. The two will be subtly at odds the whole time. Wally’s happy to have a new friend? Well, you’re Jack’s ONLY friend, a very dear person to him! Jack wants the two of you to go home? It’s ok, there are lots of lovely people here who would like to meet you too, there’s no need to rush! The neighbourhood is nice? Indeed it is, but facing responsibility is part of life, and it’s ok because if you can’t face it out there then Jack can be there for you and one day be the responsible one! Of course responsibilities are important, but here responsibilities are different, and everyone is kind, surely isn’t that better for you? Maybe, but you need someone who can truly express that kindness for you, someone who clearly shows you they loves you! It’s ok, while he may not be able to show it in his face and voice, he’ll still be there for you, hug you, talk to you when you need it, just because he can’t express it well it doesn’t mean he’ll never feel it! The bickering is endless, and it’s only your presence there that means they don’t harm each other. How long that lasts, who knows, they’re a ticking time bomb.

Now here’s where things get difficult, with both the game and ARG in their early development stages, we don’t actually know the abilities of either nor their true strength and capabilities. How much control over the neighbourhood does Wally actually have? How much does Home control? What are his actual motives so why would he be particularly smitten? What are the neighbours actually like, and how would they react to a new neighbour? Of the power he has, how much control would Jack be able to exert over the neighbourhood? What even are the extent of his capabilities? Does he have his own tape that he could pull you into, thus his own world that would mean he would be more likely to want to leave than if he didn’t? Are Wally and Home actually a threat to your life?

But it’s safe the say, the two most certainly wouldn’t get along. Wally wants you to stay, Jack probably wants to leave, to be in control. But I would say while Wally has the home field advantage so he probably has more actual power in the scenario. Jack has the advantages of being able to actually express emotions sincerely and be a true comfort to you, which Wally and his lack of understanding emotion would find a serious hurdle, and that he has simply known you longer ergo has more of a connection to you, so if something happened to him, it would be difficult for Wally to play off. After all, who are you more likely to trust, the kind, sympathetic host you have known and seems to genuinely care for you, or can Wally convince you even with his dead eyes and emotional misunderstanding that he’s the more trustworthy of the two?

Yeah, tbh I think that's why I kinda fell off Obey Me. The one thing that annoyed me about Nightbringer was the fact that it became much harder to progress through stories which each content update because the amount of resources you need to level up your cards just exponentially increased. Not to mention, within a month of the game's release, they started putting out events?? It's practically nudging the player to spend on getting more resources just to even progress at the speed of the events and stuff they put out

Idk why I had hope in Solmare considered that I have played some of their other games before and got tired of them months after. It's a blatant cash grab, and the writing quality for Obey Me has kinda just fallen imo

Luckily for me, I never have, and now certainly never will spend for OM in any way shape or form. I will not support a company that pulls this nonsense. I managed to save over 6k devil points and nearly 500 pull tickets in the original and ended up with so many materials that I went past the max cap on how many gems you could own - 9999 literally never be moving cause I have too many over the actual 9999. Which I can now just spend as I see fit to reach the end of the game, cause I now know I have no need to wait for new possible necessary cards. They think they can bully me into spending? Think again Solmare, I am the wrong hoe to pull capitalism on.

The fact Solmare announced that they were basically dropping OM for Nightbringer like a week before the latter got released, too. In a Reddit AMA. The utter lack of transparency.

Then again, Solmare's pretty known for running their games into the ground.

Nothing better than taking something beloved and body slamming it into the ground rather than, you know, taking care of it so it makes you more money.

They ABANDONED Obey Me! for Nightbringer?! You have GOT to be shitting me?!

They had gold, actual gold, which they’ve thrown away and picked up a lump of mud from the floor claiming it’s a sequel?! Obey Me didn’t and doesn’t need a fucking sequel, the game was still popular?! This whole ass game could literally have been more main story series! Instead they’ve given me a shit, migraine inducing rhythm game that’s overly saturated in every aspect, with nightmare inducing 3D models, new ‘features’ that are just gimmicks that are already annoying me, and destroyed the point of all the saving I was doing, cause we love wasting devil points and tickets and having to start from scratch, all for a game that makes NO sense without having played the original therefore could never be classified as a stand alone!

I hate this game simply for that reason, I’m so fucking mad, and yes, I know I’m late to the party, I stopped playing for months, cut me some slack and let me be pissed.
