stayed up too late studying sea otters :) cuz i wanted to draw taurs and furries.... and also otters.
also i meant to write this on that last pic but i forgot: otters are actually very skinny for a cold-water aquatic mammal, because they use their exceptionally thick fur to keep warm instead of fat deposits! but i was experimenting with taurs where the human parts didnt gain animal fur, so maybe it would be possible to have the furless human part use fat for insulation while the otter part doesnt? idk! i was just playing around :) another of them in the sketch DOES have fur on the human part (though not very thick. it was 2:30 am by this point and my brain stopped working <3) too
