Just my April fools opinion

When it comes to April Fool’s Day, I 100% understand both sides of who are and who aren’t okay with being pranked. But I genuinely hope those who aren’t are not wanting to completely get rid of the tradition of the day.

It just doesn’t give a chance to try to get ppl to joke respectfully and be responsible when doing so and to strengthen our ability to set boundaries if we even like being pranked or not or to what degree.

It can be fun and silly, but controlled and thoughtful when others are involved

Idk i just don’t want bad faith actors ruining everything fun and ppl always allowing them to do so. I’ve never been a big fan of that

I know it can be anxiety inducing, I hope the solution would be that boundaries need to be set in whatever way I needs to be said. don’t be insensitive when doing pranks aka think before you do it. say that its a joke. Dont go above and beyond. Like holy crap :/. If you mess up apologize and learn have fun or don’t do the prank.
