A/N: Hi guys, Stargirl here. This is my first ever Once Upon A Time fanfiction of any sort mainly because I only started watching the series a few weeks ago, but that’s beside the point. So I do hope you enjoy this fluff angst thingy ma jig that no one asked for and, for some reason, I felt like writing. Anyhoosle, enjoy and don’t be afraid to request anything :)
Summary: (OUAT) Peter and reader have had many stories together on Neverland, but once every hundred years the reader forgets everything.
You walked around, basking in the small beauties that Neverland held for you. The gorgeous landscapes, the wonderful Lost Boys, even the intolerable pirates brought you some form of peace. You were forever grateful for Peter Pan. How could you not? When you had stumbled off of Hook’s ship with no idea as to where or even who you are; Pan had found you. After all, you had been lost. That was a long while ago now, the memory slowly fading from your brain, like a message on a chalkboard that had been kept on too long, which led to someone rubbing it off.
In the end, one student always remembers that note.
“Y/N!” Pan called out to you, his cheeky smirk hidden under an emotion that he usually did not wear. It was a new one for him.
“Yes, Peter?” You had questioned Neverland’s ruler with a smile of your own — you almost thought your smile was hidden under a different emotion, too. But his was... harder to deduce. Almost a bittersweet one.
“I was wondering if you would like to take a walk with me. The others will meet up with us in about an hour or so.” He had walked right to your face, his green eyes shining. You brought your hand to his and clasped it in your strong grasp.
“Got it, Pan, but why?” You could never stop yourself from asking why, no matter to whom of which you were speaking to.
Pan seemed stuck in his thoughts for a second, contemplating on what to say. It was a new look for him. Usually everything was already accounted for — calculated.
“Just wanted to see some beautiful things, love, that aren’t just you.” Your cheeks were blazing red after that comment. With a little nod, you motioned for the two of you to move and get into the forest for your little walk.
As the two of you walked, you saw many memorable places. The tree of which you and Peter first truly met.
The leaves snapped, and your heart started racing. With no idea where or who you were, you were scared, to say the least. Who knows what could have been out there? The sound got louder and louder as the thing got closer and closer to the thick tree you had stood behind for a “hiding spot”. Then you saw piercing green eyes.
“Oh! I’m sorry, love. I thought you were one of those pesky pirates!” The boy had said to you, clearly hiding the fact he knew you were there.
“All good,” you whispered, eyes cast to the floor, wary of who may be in front of you, “Where am I? I think I might be lost.”
“Well, you are in Neverland. And I am Peter. Peter Pan, and who is the lovely lady that hid herself behind this tree?” Peter Pan. It rang a bell, a soft one, an echo of one.
“I’m not sure. She probably left. But, I think I know my name,” your eyes moved back to his again, noticing the curiosity that shone through them, “I think it’s... Y/N.” He smiled a smile you could only ever dream of showing. But it looked more like a smirk. But what could you say, you didn’t know the boy.
“Lovely to meet you, Y/N. I think you’ll fit in here. No longer are you lost.”
The memory, no matter how distant it was becoming, still was one of your favourites. Otherwise, if none of that ever happened, where would you have ended up?
“I remember that tree,” you spoke to Pan, a soft smile gracing your lips.
“I’m glad you do. C’mon, we have more stops ahead.” His euphonious voice sung.
Up ahead lay more places you adored, and yet could now barely remember why. Like the tree. Why did you like that tree? There was a lake:
“C’mon! Get in here, Peter Pan! Have some fun with us. The water’s nice! You could even bring your flute-thingy.” You cried out to him.
“It’s not a flute-thingy, love,” The voice seemed to drown out by laughter in the end.
And there was also a log that was surrounded by wildflowers:
“Y/N, would you do me the honour of accepting my flower?” Pan had asked you, plucking one purple wildflowers that grew from just under the log you were sitting on.
“Of course, Peter Pan.” Both your cheeks were glowing red, it looked like it was a first time for Pan.
And a pile of sticks:
“Why are you building that?” Pan asked, eyes gleaming with joy.
“Why not, Pan? One day we’ll come back and go ‘Oh wait, I made that pile.’ Or maybe we’ll just light it on fire some rainy day.”
Everything that seemed to be around you jogged some sort of memory, but it was all fading. The only thing that you could truly remember now was... an hour ago. When Pan asked you for a walk.
“Y/N? What do you think?” Peter asked, a certain vulnerability kicking into his voice. It sounded like a first time, but you knew it wasn’t, felt it wasn’t.
“I think I’m getting lost again, Pete... Peter? Peter Pan?” You were even questioning his name. What a splendid memory, Y/N. What happened to you?
“Love, can you tell me where you are?” The green-eyed boy begged. Every ounce of his body seemed to be on fire. One could only dream of the pain he was going through.
“I’m lost.”
“Y/N, you were never lost. I told you, you’ve found your place. You are not lost — not anymore.” He leant in to kiss you, but you swerved from his lips before they could touch.

MASTERLIST // HITLIST
~~(^Google/Entertainment Weekly)
Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
He likes to spar with his s/o. Anywhere from practicing sword skills to playful matches against one another to sharpen skills. I also think you guys would play music together.
Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
He would be the guy to like your eyes. Any colour, any shape, and size-he loves them. I can see him pulling stupid pick up lines like being lost in your eyes one you’re in an established relationship.
Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
He would be clueless. He’s never dealt with any of the lost boys feeling upset or having panic attacks, so he freaks out as well. When he gets his bearings, he’s by your side. Holding you or rambling to you, whichever you're more comfortable with. Once you’ve calmed down, cuddles for days. This man is not letting you go for a while. Also, he’s going to find out what causes your mood and if he can help it, he’ll avoid the scenario.
Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
Obviously, you’re still on Neverland. He rules the place, so he’d picture you taking on some authority and running it alongside him. He might think of marriage, but nothing on Neverland is really “legal,” so you guys can just say you’re married eventually.
Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
In some situations, he’s extremely dominant and possessive. Specifically around the lost boys, pirates, basically anyone. However, whenever you two are alone, he lets you take the lead. Man needs a break every once and a while.
Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
He probably doesn’t fight much unless it’s a pirate or something consigning your safety. I think he’s a hothead, so it would escalate quickly. However, it wouldn’t last long just because you’re his weakness.
Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
He’s not one to say it out loud, but you take care of the stuff he doesn’t want to in regards to the lost boys. He also knows everything you do on the island because 1) he knows everything that happens on Neverland and 2) the lost boys always talk about how much you help them. (Y/N) helped me learn this. (Y/N) helped me learn that. (Y/N) wrapped my injury. (Y/N) showed me how to do this. etc.
Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
Peter is naturally a secretive person! I feel like it would take time, but eventually, his s/o would break down his walls and they would share everything. From random thoughts to new games to chores that some lost boy didn’t do.
Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
I am willing to bet that Peter’s s/o would convince him not to take Henry’s heart. His s/o has a lot of power over his decisions and they know it. Peter would probably let his s/o control some of his actions like punishments for the lost boys, and he would probably listen to their plans to defeat Hook.
Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
Of course, he does! Not only are you on an isolated island surrounded by a bunch of hormonal teenagers, but Peter is also a possessive little shit. If any of the lost boys even look at you in a way he feels threatened by, Peter will make them do chores to keep them as far away from you as possible.
Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
He'd be awkward during your first kiss. He would play it off all confident and cocky because he’s the leader of Neverland. However, behind closed doors, he is clueless. He is not experienced with intimacy, so you guys learn together. After some time, and a lot of practice, he is an amazing kisser.
Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
He is not one to confess. His s/o probably showed up and was like “Hmm, I like your face!” Most likely, he was in denial or something because he is so used to running the island with newbies saying the same thing. He thought his s/o was lying until they’ve been in Neverland for months, constantly telling him stupid pick-up lines. Then, AND ONLY THEN, does he confess.
Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?
Neverland is a place without real rules, so marriage is not exactly needed to say that you two have been together for x years and want to spend the rest of your lives together. If you wanted to get married, he would set something up for a wedding to be as legal as it can be on Neverland. He would either propose elaborately in front of all of the lost boys during a fire or lazily after a cuddle session in his treehouse; there is no in between.
Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?
He’s basic. In the presence of other lost boys, he will call you babe, his lost person (idfk), shortened versions of your name, or names that tease you. In private, he’d be mushy and call you his love, baby, sweetheart, and other affectionate names.
On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
He plays it off around newcomers and the pirates. However, all of the lost boys that have been on the island for more than a few months know how smitten he was with you. He is usually hard on the boys when they mess something up, but whenever you’re around, he doesn’t want to scare you, so he doesn’t punish them as harshly.
PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
Depends on who’s around. He has no problem with talking about you and bragging in front of the Lost Boys, but if the “heroes” or pirates show up, he shows no intimate connections to you. Also, he has no problem kissing you with the Lost Boys around especially during the campfire.
Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
The fact that he hears and knows everything that goes on in Neverland comes in handy whenever something happens to you or you need him. He is able to be by your side in a second in the event that you are hurt, have a question for him, or if you need to warn him. This also works when someone else says something about you and he can punish them without your knowledge; no one will speak badly about the leaders of Neverland.
Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
He is both cliche and creative. He doesn’t have much experience with being in a relationship, so he pulls some cliche moves by accident. However, since he has magic, he uses that to be a little creative. As for how romantic he is, Peter is inexperienced, so he is learning, but he tries to show you he loves you through small actions.
Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
Anytime you need him, he’s there. Anything you need, he’s got you. He believes in anything you believe, and he is there to help you every step of the way. Want to get better at archery? He’s here to help you. Want to practice climbing trees? He’s at the base in case you fall. Want to learn to sword fight? He already got the swords to teach you.
Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
Oh, hell yeah. He’s not one to stick to a routine, so he’s always changing things up. Even if they don’t work, you guys can say you tried it. If they do work out, you just got another activity to do! You guys are on an island with no rules (and in a relationship with the leader, no less), so you don’t want to be too predictable.
Understanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
He has a feeling when you are upset. It’s not the fact that he knows everything that goes on in Neverland; he just knows. Could be the fact that you guys have been together for x long, you’re the only one who sees past his walls, or that he’s actually an empath. No one will ever know. Once he knows you’re upset, he is teleporting to you, pronto. Nothing is more important than you.
Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it worth in comparison to other things in their life?
Your relationship is the most important thing to him. He may put out a cocky bitchy exterior, but in the end, you are the only one who knows his weaknesses. If it came down to his magic or you, he’d save you in a heartbeat. He would not even think about it. His only thoughts would be that you are in trouble and you are his number 1 priority.
Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.
Peter’s love language is quality time and you cannot tell me otherwise. He runs an entire island practically by himself, fights against pirates trying to kill him, all while trying to find the heart of the truest believer. He is responsible for so much that just spending time with his s/o calms him down tremendously. He likes spending time with you whether it is sitting by the fire playing music, walking down the beach, or practicing archery skills.
XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
In privacy. He is a private person with a lot of enemies, so he won’t show his feelings in the open. However, once it is just the two of you, he is the most affectionate person ever. You cannot get him off you when you are alone. He just wants to chill out after running a group of rambunctious boys all day, and what better way to relax than to cuddle your s/o?
Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
He knows everything that happens on Neverland, so he’s never really missing you. He literally can hear you talking, so it’s almost like he is still with you. If he is really missing your presence, he’ll just teleport to you. It’s not hard for him.
Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
He’d kill for you, no doubt about that. If one of the lost boys got handsy, oops, they fell into the ocean and got killed by the mermaids. Pirate says shit about you; Peter accidentally hit him with Dreamshade and caused him to fall off a cliff. He uses his powers to hear everything the boys say about you, and if he doesn't like it, they disappear.
Request: hey may I request a one shot for your Peter Pan story if yes can you, use my real name (Zai) instead of Y/N if you please and can you have me pans total opposite like sweet, shy everything he would hate but in the end he falls for her and becomes really protective
Pairing: Pan x Zai

< Part 1
Heavy, gloomy, and dark atmosphere swept through the camp, the boys quite obviously upset but too afraid to show any grievance in front of their ruthless leader as they held tears back behind their eyes. It had been like this for a week now, but somehow I couldn't seem to share the same sadness with the boys, I didn't feel bad, I hardly knew the boy and what I did know about him I didn't like.
The loud cracks and pops of the fire pulled me from my thoughts, snapping my head up to watch the orange and red flames dance with each other. The golden glow spread across the camp, painting it, contrasting with the dark gloomy sky.
A familiar pair of green eyes were caught staring at me from across the way, meeting my brown ones. I would say it bought a light blush to spread across the King of Neverlands cheeks, but as quickly as it came it left again. It was probably a trick of the light but this wasn't the first time I had noticed him watching me, observing me. Probably wondering if I was worth keeping around or not.
I found myself spending more and more time with the cold leader of the lost boys, not because I wanted to, just because he always seemed to be around me like a phantom slowly stalking me in the night. Never leaving, never straying from the path that I created, always watching, lurking, creeping. It seemed like he kept track of my every word, making notes of where I went and what I would do, who I spoke to.
Sweat trickled down my fare skin, the sudden feeling of grease and muck made my whole body tense up in disgust, I needed a wash and soon. Rising from the makeshift bench I was sat at I began to walk out of camp, I felt his eyes following me.
Stepping over the threshold of the Lost Boys territory I released a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
It was so peaceful walking through the forest at night, there were no animals or birds to be heard as they were all sound asleep by now, there was nothing but me and the trees. They silently watched as I passed them by as if they were guiding the way to the waterfall for me, mapping out the path I would take, making sure I didn't stray, and get myself into trouble.
The sound of rushing water grew louder and louder in my ears, indicating it was a step closer to becoming clean once more.
There it was, the most beautiful thing I had ever seen before. Clear, clean water running down cliff face basking the glory of the pale moonlight causing it to glow with a powerful silver shimmer. Everything surrounded it seemed to glow too, as if this tiny part of the island was untouched by the boy's wicked ways and remained pure, holding the power of a Goddess. The flowers seemed to dance in the moonlight stretching towards the starry night sky to drink up its silver shine. The scene before captured my gaze, refusing my eyes from averting themselves. As if possessed, I stalked forward ever so slowly, scared that the delicate scenery would be ruined by my presence. It was so beautiful, I was terrified I would mess it all up it like throwing a bucket of water over a freshly painted canvas, but it was like the spirits of the water pulled me in closer and closer, beckoning me to come in and be purified by the magic it supplied the island.
Slowly, the top part of my dress slipped off my shoulders, revealing the nape of my neck to the onlooking moon. I had no reason to hide or cover myself, for I was loved, the moon welcomed me, hugging me with its beaming silver light. It continued to fall, showing the beauty of my back which connected to my behind, the cold air was not a problem for the giant in the sky protected me from any harm such as the harsh cold. White cloth that once covered me tumbled down, leaving my entire body exposed to the wilderness. Next to flee my frame were my boots, feeling my feet meeting the grass, letting it rub in between my toes, and grounding me.
I stood, completely naked and free, praising my imperfections. Smiling down at every stretch mark, kissing every scar, appreciating my moles, befriending every freckle that resided on my skin, grasping the love handles at either side of my body and giving out a giggle of happiness.
I felt like I was a child once more, so innocent and carefree. The love that poured into my heart was overwhelming, calming, freeing. As I got closer and closer to the healing water of the waterfall, my appreciation for myself only grew more and more intense. Beautiful roses seemed to empower me, tall trees gave me the courage I needed, the small koi fish which swam around in the clear waters supplied me with the grace I always knew I had. A single tear slipped down my rosy cheeks soon being washed away by the remedial waters the island gifted to me.
Drops slide over my skin, healing me from the toxicity of my old mindset. I was free, happy, cleansed, and totally whole. There is no reason for me to hide myself anymore, there was no reason to hide myself in the first place for we are all perfect no matter what we look like. Bliss consumed me, bursting into every cell in my body, flowing through my veins as I laughed and smiled, cupping the beautiful water, letting it pour through my fingertips.
I danced and cheered, this was the first time I had felt like this and no words could describe how amazing it is. I had been holding onto society's idea of the "perfect" body for too long and now I see we are all perfect, every single being in the universe is totally and utterly beautiful. All of us, children of the moon, stars, and sun as they lend us their beauty. We are pure. We are whole. We are loved.
It was only then that I caught a glimpse of a familiar figure, perfects poised, leaning against a tree. Vibrant green eyes stood out the most in the dark forest, reminding me of the Cheshire cat lurking in the shadows. His arms crossing over his broad chest, veins almost popping out of them, his shirt hugged his frame nicely as if it were made for him.
I felt proud, not feeling the need to cover up, not like it matter to the king much anyway for his eye didn't scan over me as I had expected them to do. They stared deeply into mine, not moving, a smile played on his lips but there was something about it that was different. It wasn't an act of lust but rather one of amazement, as if I had taken his gaze as a hostage much like the way the waterfall had mesmerized me.
As quickly as the boy appeared in front of me he left again, surrounding himself in a cloud of dark green smoke, leaving nothing but the air in his wake.
Bright stars shimmered in the sky, lighting the way back to camp. I didn't put my shoes back on but carried them in my hands, the dirt and leaves crumbled below my feet. Camp looked more lively upon my return, the boys were finally up on their feet and dancing around the fire, clashing their sticks together and they cheered and hollered.
A small, tired voice sounded, "Zai~" He spoke, pulling on the hem of my dress.
I smiled down at the sleepy little boy, "What's up Daemon?"
"Can you read me a story?" The glimmer in his eyes made it hard to refuse his request, the little boy warmed my heart, giving his place a sense of hope and innocence.
I nodded in reply and with that his little hand grasped mine, guiding me towards his time tent that was lit with nothing but a candle. Hopping up onto the bed he pulled the cute little storybook out from under his pillow, passing it to me.
I ran my thumb over the cover whispering the title into the cold air of the night, "Peter Pan" I almost laughed at how ironic it was, no wonder the small boy had ended up here.
"Once upon a time..." I began.
As time passed the child's eyes grew too heavy for him to keep open and he let sleep consume his body. Silently, I leaned over his, placing a soft kiss upon his forehead.
"You're good with kid's," A British accent whispered, turning to face him he seemed to stand in the exact same position that he had when watching me at the waterfall, like he is a statue.
"You were watching me," I replied in a hushed tone, more as confirmation to myself rather than a question.
"I was, you're good with him," He said, "Daemon needs someone like you to keep him safe, a mother."
"I am no mother," I whispered to the king of Neverland.
"You're more a mother to him than the woman who birthed him," Pan spoke, "She starved him, beat him, and left him for dead in a street alley."
It pained me to know what he had been through, my heart cried for him. He was safe now, here with his family, here with the lost boys. How could anyone do that to someone so pure, someone so innocent and small?
Pan knew that although I didn't respond, I understood. He could see the pain that I was feeling on the boys' behalf.
"You were also watching me at the waterfall," I said.
"That I was, I admired you. Seeing the way that you danced, you were free and happy. You had the power to turn your weaknesses into strength, you're stronger than you look, little one." With that, he gave me a smile before leaving the room.
I felt a sense of pride swell up in my chest, could this be true? Could the ruthless, cold-hearted, cruel, malicious Peter Pan be proud of me? Could I possibly have earned his respect after so long of being here?
As the days passed by the boys seemed to warm up to me, allowing me to hunt with them, dancing with them around the fire, play games with them. They stopped treating me like an outcast and more like part of their family.
"Listen up boys!" Pan's voice boomed, scaring birds from trees and causing animals to sprint away, "We have some visitors."
The smirk on the boy kings face grew causing a shiver to travel up and down my spine, I felt hot all of a sudden.
The lost boys hollard and cheered, we all knew what this meant, pirates.
Excited and eager we all rushed down to the shore, weapons at the ready. The boys were ruthless and bloodthirsty, looking for a fight, I however was on the more cautious side of things. I don't like to fight, I never did, but if I didn't want to be seen as weak again it would be a smart idea for me to join them only if it is for the time being.
By the time my feet met with the sandy beach, the fight was already in full force, the sound of metal clanking with metal and battle cries filled the crisp air. From where I stood the lost boys all looked so small, like ants fighting against another colony.
Silently, I watched the scene before me unfold. People were getting hurt, boys were getting hurt. Thick red blood dyed the golden sand with no remorse and I could do nothing but watch.
So wrapped up in my own thoughts I didn't notice the dirty pirate sneaking up behind me, hand covering my mouth as he attempted to drag me to Hook's ship.
I didn't know what to do, or how to react, but I wasn't going anywhere without putting up some kind of a fight.
Wriggling and struggling against him I tried my hardest to keep my feet planted into the ground, my efforts were useless. I bit down hard at the hand covering my mouth, causing him to yelp out and grasp the attention on the others. A sharp, sneering pain exploded in my side as I let out a muffled scream, trying hard to not look weak in front of the lost boys.
My foot came down hard on his and my elbow swiftly embedded itself into his stomach before he fell to the floor with a groan, in an effort to get as far away from him and possible I stumbled to the tree line. A wet feeling covered my hands, sticking to my shirt and sides. Red, that's all I could see.
"Zai" Pan's voice filled my ears, the look of worry was noticble on his face, it was strange seeing him show any emotion other than angry, "I've got you, don't worry I've got you."
Panic flowed through my veins, who's blood was that? His or mine?
My vision quickly became blurred, it was like I was under a spell, stuck in some trance that I couldn't get out of. The king of Neverlands voice echoed around in my skull, I wanted to reply, I wanted to tell him I was fine, but the words couldn't leave my mouth before everything went black.
"Zai!" the angry shout from the leader was the last thing I heard before falling to the ground.

MASTERLIST
The delicate rustling of the leaves lulled them, making it hard not to fall asleep. They were surrounded by dark – night had fallen hours ago and there was no way to tell what time it was. The girls, however, knew better than to give in to their exhaustion and allow themselves to doze off, unbeknownst to anyone but them. Somehow, She always knew. There was no hiding anything from Her. One of them moved her weigh from one food to the other but this movement alone made a lot of noise in the middle of a tranquil night. The girl to her left gave her a worried glance and it seemed to wake them all up. No, they couldn't fall asleep, they had to keep an eye open and watch camp for the night. Once a week the camp's safety was in their hands, they could not disappoint Her.
“Report.”
It was an all too familiar voice, one that sent shills down the girls' spine and inspired a mixture of awe and fear. She was as nurturing as she was fierce; no one in their right mind would consider getting on Her bad side.
“It's been quiet all night,” one of the girls said, her voice a little raspy. They hadn't uttered a single word in hours and the stiflingly hot air of the jungle had them suffocating and thirsty.
“Night's far from being over. If a Lost Boy so much as steps on our land, I want him to run back to camp with an arrow through his leg,” She told them, leaving no room for argument. She had trained them for this. “They came raiding our camp one too many times lately, methinks they need a little reminder who rules this part of the island.”
“We won't disappoint you,” the girl who moved earlier spoke up, looking up at their leader with glowing eyes, sweat trickling down between her brows and feet unsteady on the humid ground.
She turned towards the brave girl and stood before her a long while, minutely watching her, scrutinizing her.
“I expect not,” She eventually said before disappearing in the night.
A collective sigh fell from the four girls on watch and suddenly, they didn't feel too hot anymore – cold, fear induced sweat now covered their back.
(Y/N) reappeared on the highest spot of her territory and scouted her surroundings, squinting her eyes to try and see if the Lost Boys' campfire was still lit. Everything was eerily still – she didn't like it. The island was fast asleep for the first time in what felt like forever, yet she found herself unable to get any shut eye that night. Be it because she wanted to savor that peaceful night or because her own paranoia prevented her from sleeping, that was another question. For now, all she could do was to help her girls make sure the camp was safe.
Peter Pan. His name, although she hadn't pronounced it in ages, always left a bitter taste in her mouth – after a while she figured that this must be what hatred and contempt tasted like. There was something else too, that feeling lingered on her tongue whenever she talked with her girls. The tangible terror she inspired to all of them – even though it was one of the things she most despised about Pan, she realized it was a necessary thing to make sure her soldiers stood in line and remained loyal and obedient.
All the power this authority gave her was exhilarating and more often than not, (Y/N) had to remind herself not to turn into the monster He became. He still had tremendous power over her – more than the power he was actually deploying to keep on her Neverland. Sometimes she wondered why he didn't use more of it, because she knew he could, she knew she left before he could teach her how to use all of her power. What was holding him back? Was this a part of a bigger scheme? All these unanswered questions were probably the reason behind her insomnia and paranoia. All the more reason to have the girls take turns to watch over the camp at night, when they were the most vulnerable.
There was only one thing her girls couldn't fight off. One lurid thing that was too incorporeal for them to combat. The Shadow.
From the corner of her eye, (Y/N) saw its moving silhouette fly between the trees, silently making its way toward her. Her hands clenched into fists each side of her body – she hated this, she hated herself for this. It felt like a betrayal – towards her girls, who trusted her, and towards herself.
“What do you want?!” She spat at the dark form floating in the air a couple meters in front of her, out of arm's reach and over the precipice.
It didn't answer. It never answered her harsh questions or colorful curses. She knew who sent it – over and over again, almost every night, for the last eternity. Because that was how long she had been there - an eternity.
Its ghostly hand pulled a flower seemingly out of nowhere and it stretched its arm out for (Y/N) to take the gift. She remembered in vivid details the first time this happened, she remembered she screamed and attacked the shadow relentlessly for hours until she was too exhausted to keep going, she remembered that the flower didn't suffer any damage from her fireballs and still glowed its gentle blue color, she remembered reluctantly accepting the offering and crying for the rest of the night.
She was alone back then, none of the Lost Girls had come yet. Now she wasn't alone anymore, so why was this oppressing loneliness weight on her shoulders? An eternity later nothing had changed. To this day she still did the exact same thing – she reached out, took the splendid flower from the Shadow and waited until it disappeared into the night before collapsing on the rocky ground and crying, just crying.

She was the one exception – the only one in centuries, the only one in forever. Peter Pan didn't make exceptions, he was known to be a treacherous, ruthless leader and showed cruelty rather than mercy. His army was solely composed of young clueless boys - young enough for him to mold and shape the type of person they will become, and clueless enough to do it without them realizing it. Soon, his Lost Boys became cruel too, in their own way, even if his own viciousness could hardly be topped. Like any power-thirsty king, Peter Pan wanted more and more, always more power. There was never enough, never enough authority, or power, control, never enough enemies to defeat or magic to learn.
Neverland, as practical and symbiotic it was, was limited. It was surrounded by gallons and gallons of water, going as far as eye can see. There was no land to conquer, no enemies to challenge his authority. He was bored – like any child who had grown tired of their toys, he wanted new ones.
Peter Pan regularly left Neverland and wandered from village to village in the Enchanted Forest, searching for more innocent souls to corrupt and lure on his doomed island where everything and everyone stood still – frozen in time and space.
He was known under another name in the Enchanted Forest, though there was whispers about the identity of the boy who took kids from their parents, stole them right out of their little beds. The Pied Piper they called him and nobody knew where this curious name came from.
One day, (Y/N) found out though, but she was never able to go back and tell anyone. A pull stronger than anything she had ever experienced forced her to get out of her tiny bed, it compelled her to leave her room and she barely managed to slip on her shoes and throw a coat on top of her night gown before her feet dragged her out of her room and silently walked down the stairs. It was like they had a will of their own – they managed to reach the ground floor without stepping on any of the creaking wooden steps, something that (Y/N) couldn't even achieve when she tried.
Soon she was outside. She used both her hands to hold her coat closed and the freezing autumn wind made her eyes tear up but she couldn't fight off the urge to walk forward, closer, always closer to the mesmerizing sound that came from deep into the woods.
Before she knew it, she was in a small clearing with a bonfire in the middle. Around the flames were half a dozen boys of different ages – though all younger than she was – dancing madly to the tune. Once again guided by her feet, (Y/N) joined them. She didn't know how to dance but her body instinctively followed the music, her hair twirling around her as she spun in circles, her arms drawing invisible patterns in the air. Time was suspended – she lost track of it the moment she joined the dance. Her mind was foggy but at peace, she was one with her dancing companions despite not knowing any of them.
Everything came to an abrupt halt. (Y/N)'s arm fell down to the side of her body and she looked around, wondering how she even got here in the first place.
“Look boys, we have an unsuspected guest,” someone said. “What a treat! Here I thought tonight would be fruitless.”
“Who are you?” (Y/N) questioned immediately, wary of this boy.
He was the only one wearing decent clothes and not dancing. In his hands there was a pied piper and immediately, she knew. She knew who he was and she knew this was tonight was the last time she ever saw her village. In the morning her parents would wake up to an empty bed, like the parents of the boys around the bonfire.
“You'll know soon enough,” he simply told her with a sly smile that she would never forget. Every time she heard his voice, (Y/N) would associate it with this twisted smile and it made her shiver. “For now, I ask the questions and you answer.”
The boys suddenly resumed their mad dance, but (Y/N) heard no music.
“You can't hear it for now, I want to have a private conversation. Now tell me, who are you? The possibility of you being a boy with really long hair and pink lips seems highly improbable,” he said.
He was walking in circles around her, studying her, his eyes going up and down and up again. (Y/N) wanted to run but her feet were as good as glued to the ground. When she looked down she realized roots had grown out of the ground and around her ankles. She was trapped.
“I'm a girl,” she told him. “What is this? What are you doing?”
He smirked again. In a rather unpleasant way, but she didn't feel too threatened.
“I recall telling you that I was the one asking questions,” he reprimanded her. “You don't look like a fool. You know me, I see in your eyes. You're scared.”
“I'm not scared of anything,” she shot back right away, making him stop circling around her.
“A tough one, aren't you?” He huffed and resumed his walking. “How do they call me in this land again? Something to do with my flute,” he said, trailing off and waiting for her to complete the sentence.
“The Pied Piper. You're the one that takes children away during their sleep,” (Y/N) said accusingly.
“Do they seem asleep to you?” The boy asked, pointing at the dancing boys.
She didn't follow his stare but took this time to study him too. He was tall. Maybe older than her, but not much. He wore clean clothes and seemed clever. His eyes trained back on her.
“Are you asleep?”
She didn't like the way he emphasized the 'you' in his sentences. He might as well be poking her in the chest it would feel the same.
“You came here by yourself, just like you'll follow me by your own free will.”
“Following you while under the spell of an enchanted flute does not qualify as free will in my book,” (Y/N) spat at him. An odd feeling stirred inside her – like she was talking to a serpent rather than a boy. “What do you want from us? Where are you taking them?”
“Questions again!” He exclaimed, this time looking annoyed. He raised his hand and suddenly, (Y/N) was off the ground and hanging in the hair, an invisible rope tightening around her neck to keep her quiet. “Much better.” He smiled again. What was wrong with his smile? “Why not include yourself dear? I'm not taking them, I'm taking all of you. You'll be thanking me soon. There is a reason why none of the children ever came back. The place I'm taking you is a land of unlimited magic where all your dreams become reality.”
(Y/N)'s hands angrily grasped at the invisible rope but she only managed to scratch her neck. It wasn't tight enough to kill her, she could breathe but simply not talk. As an answer she glared down at him, putting as much hatred as she had in her in this one look.
“Fiesty, aye?” The boy said. “I'm going to enjoy having you around, I can tell already.”
“I won't go with you!” She protested weakly, the words coming out as merely a whisper.
The boy opened his palm and (Y/N) fell limpy to the ground in a muffled thud. A surprised yelp escaped her, it was followed by a groan. She rubbed her back as she stood back up.
“You were saying, love? I didn't quite understand your inarticulate mumble.” He beamed with self-complacency – he gave her a tooth grin that was anything but friendly.
“I said I won't go with you, you psychopathic man-child!” She shouted, her hands grazing her sore neck. It would bruise, that's for sure. “I'd rather die!”
“Careful!” He raised a finger in warning as he stopped walking around her and walked towards her instead. “Where we're going wishes have a tendency to come true, I'd watch my mouth if I were you,” he told her.
“What is it that you don't understand when I say that I will not follow you on your Neverland not even in a million years?” (Y/N) stepped back as she barked at him – she refused to be stepped on like a doormat but she certainly was no fool and this boy was dangerous.
“Oh but you will, I assure you,” he told her, closing the gap between them by disappearing and reappearing right in front of her. “A million years is exactly the time you'll spend there, with us.”
“Us?” She asked before she had a chance to bite her tongue.
“The Lost Boys and I- oh, I'm sorry, I still haven't properly introduced myself, have I? I'm Peter Pan, King of Neverland, and you, (Y/N) of Albridge in the Enchanted Forest, are going to come with me, whether you like it or not.”

Sorry for the delay!! Hope you enjoy! Also not my best work but I wanted to get it up! ------------------ You stepped onto the floors of Neverland with heavy hesitation. You agreed to help the heroes find Henry, but that didn't mean you exactly wanted to. This wasn't your first time in Neverland and Hook was fully aware of your past with Pan. It was your third night on the island and the shadow was taunting you. Peter knew you would crack eventually, you couldn't avoid him forever, and you knew you couldn't either. It finally got to be too much. Tonight you would meet with pan and since you knew the heroes would be busy with the map it was the perfect time. Much to his dismay and annoyance Killian helped you sneak away from the group. It took a while to find a place that was far enough away from everyone and everything. The shadow soon showed up in front of you. If he could you knew he would be smirking with greed. You sighed nervously and told him to get Peter. After at least 15 minutes of waiting you were almost ready to leave when you heard a smug voice behind you. “Hello darling” he smirks. You jumped in fright and turned slowly to face him. “You got me here. Now what?” You ask making sure to keep your distance. He chuckles and walks around you “how are you love? It's been a while,” “I've been trying to forget about this place.” You glare it him. You looked away quickly as you felt the feelings you had for him creep back up. “I seem to remember you being devastated to leave,” he scoffs toward you. His smug attitude never leaving his body. You roll your eyes but know that he's right. When Killian snatched you from the island, you knew it was the right move but it hurt so much. He glances down your body and has a look of disgust. “This isn't you. You're not prim, you're not proper you're a lost girl. Your a girl who doesn't take bullshit and has more balls than any lost boy I've met. Now you're all...this.. it isn't you.” He seethes. You watched his body tense and his chest heave up and down. Everything cofmused you. Your eyes welled with tears at you watched him. “Stop,” you whisper “I wasn’t lost. Maybe at the beginning I was but in the end I was yours and you were mine. You pushed me away so I left! I found people who care for the well being of others. I have a family now!” You cry angrily. Peter’s green eyes grow darker and darker with each moment you watch each other. You expected him to leave. He wasn't getting what he wanted. You weren't falling on your knees begging for forgiveness. You weren't praising him for what he's done. You were standing your ground. “Goodbye Peter.” You turned to leave when Peter appeared in front of you and crashed his lips onto yours. His hands found the back of your head and waist. Without hesitation your arms wrapped around his broad shoulders. Your lips moved perfectly in sync with his as if no time ever passed. All the feeling your had came crashing back to your heart. You felt the pain all over again, but you also felt the love you had for him. You can tell this is his way of telling you he missed you and hated every second of being away from you. He would never say it out loud. But for now this was enough. His lips found your neck as he left dark marks on your body. He was claiming you as his and you loved every second of it. He pulled away, his surprisingly minty breath draping itself over your neck. You watched his eyes which were currently a dark emerald. Even as dark as they were the moon lit them with lust. The rest of the night was filled with a comfortable silence of just being together. His hand enveloped yours the entire night. The heroes below still struggling to find henry, but at that moment in time you didn’t care if he was found or not. They say, “those who forget the past are destined to repeat it.” To you repeating history doesn’t sound too bad.

,< Part 1
He couldn’t believe this was happening again, did he not learn from the last time? Pan’s voice echoed around in his mind over and over again as if the words were bouncing around his skull, ricocheting until Felix’s head hurt.
Love make’s you weak. Love make’s you weak. Love make’s you weak.
Those fearsome green eyes stared at him even though the blonde boys eye lids were close, he could still feel his friends cold gaze on him even as lay in the comfort of his bed. For days the giant had been cold and distant, from everyone not just Y/n, the lost boy was away with the fairies half of the time trying not to think about the situation he was once again placed in. He struggled to find any motivation to do anything, Felix who was once an early raiser stumbled out of his tent around mid day only to be met with a disappointing glear from the leader.
“Felix,” The boys heart dropped as he heard his name being called from across the camp, words delivered in a familiar British accent, “Get over here, we need to talk.”
Whispers spread through the camp like a wild fire as curiosity overflowed from the rowdy group of lost boys, each one desprate to know what was happening. Felix could only try and ignore then as he slowly trekked over, back hunched and aching.
“What’s going on?” Pan asked in a stern voice making Felix flinch as soon as the words reached his ears.
With a deep sigh the boy finally mustered up enough courage to speak, “Nothing Pan, I’m fine.” Felix may not be the brightest tool in the shed but that didn’t mean he was stupid, he knew if he started to slip up Pan would punish him by punishing Y/n.
The leaders jaw locked in place, trying his hardest not to let his frustration get the better of him. He knew exactly what the problem was, and how to fix it.
How hard could it be? The king of Neverland thought to himself with a dark grin plastered on his face.
“I’ve given you your chance Felix and now,” He spoke, getting so close to the blonde giant he could feel Pan’s breath slowly travel along the nape of his neck “now you need to be punished.”
The second in command eyes spread no the size of sources and panic flowed through his veins, “No.” He whispered, barely audible but the green eyes monster heard his faint cries.
“What example would I be setting for the boys if I didn’t Felix?” The king argued, “now listen very carefully, I want you to grab that little distraction by the arm and throw her into the cage’s.”
Felix knew that Pan could be a narcasistic prick at times, but he never expected the boy to go this far, never in a million years.
The blonde giant had no idea how to process the emotions he was feeling, they just kept getting stronger and stronger, bubbling over the surface until he overflowed with emotion. At this moment the second in command had no shame, he didn’t care who saw him as tears streamed down his sharp cheeks, the lost boy had never been this vunrible in front of any one before yet somehow Pan made him feel safe.
Felix almost laughed at the irony, how can the person who’s making him feel misrble be the only person he feels safe enough to cry around, to show his true colours around.
“Pan-” The lost boy tried to speak up but his words only came out as a shaky rasp.
“You know what you need to do.” Where the leaders parting words before he made his way back to camp.
The brown haired boy let out a sigh of relief as he walked away, he hated seeing Felix like this, but he knew if that girl broke his heart then he would be much more broken. Maybe his punishment was a little harder than he had originally planned for it to be, but what was he to do? How else would he be able to help Felix, he needed to get rid of the problem and he needed to do it himself.
…
Felix gut twisted inside of him, every cell in his body was screaming out no. He couldn’t do this to her, not when he had finally realized how he felt, but the second in command knew that if he didn’t do it Pan would and who knows how rough he would be?
There she was, sat silent and alone on a log. Felix remembered the mornings when he would join her, laughing as they told each other the funniest stories while he playfully put his arm around her. Oh how he wished he knew sooner, he would’ve cherished those moments even more if he only knew where his heart ley.
There was that sinking feeling again, like his heart had suddenly turned to stone in an instant, weighing him down as if his own body was stopping him from taking another step. He wanted to just grab her and run off into the sunset but the giant knew there was no way off this island, not without Pan’s permission.
He needed to be smart about this and try to cause as little pain as possible. Ignoring the fact that his feet felt like they were made of led he slowly made his way over to her, one step at a time, catching the lost girls eye.
A smile beamed on her face as she saw he was coming over, eyes beaming and face glowing with happiness, but she was not met with the same expression.
“Felix-!” She happily exclaimed.
“You need to come with me,” He muttered, voice deep and moody.
Y/n’s eyebrows knitted together in confusion, “Where are we going?”
He shut his eyes, wanting this process to be quick and easy, “Please don’t make me ask again,” he pleaded with her, “Just follow me.”
“Not until you tell me where we’re going.” She tested.
Felix knew he had no other choice but to take her by force, as much as he didn’t want too he knew it would be the only way of ensuring her safety.
Swiftly wrapping his long fingers around her forearm he yanked her up, dragging her away too little to no effort, she was as light as a feather. Oh how Felix wish he could just scoop her up in his arms right now, instead of forcing her into one of those cold, damp cages.
“Felix, what are you doing!” She exclaimed, trying to claw at his knuckles, desperately trying to get the blonde giant off her, “You’re hurting me!”
As soon as those words fell from her lips the second in command instantly let go as thought it were second nature to him. The boy had no problem when it came to a little bit of pain, but she made him weak, love made him weak.
Y/n’s demands never stopped the whole way through the jungle, he fought everything he had in him to not answer back. Why hadn’t he noticed how special she was to him sooner? Why was Pan making him do this? What was the point?
So many questions swirled around in his mind he didn’t even notice the tears streaming down the lost girls face as she, now silently, followed him.
His hand twitched in response, ready to reach out and brush every drop away with the pad of his thumb, but he couldn’t. He kept his eyes glued to the floor and his head down, he needed to remember that if he wanted her to be safe, he was going to have to put her in the cage.
The lost girl felt ace in her chest as the wooden door swung closed in front of her, there eyes met for what seemed like it would be the last time. She couldn’t stop the stream of tears from pouring down her cheeks, she didn’t understand what was going on. Had she angered him that much he would want to stick her in the cages?
Hesitantly, he began to walk away, slowly as if he wanted the moment to last a little longer. Felix’s knows this isn’t the romantic event he had hopped for, but still, he was just happy to be with her and never wanted to leave her side.
“Felix, wait.” She croaked out, voice raw from all the screaming and crying she had done prier.
The second in command came to a halt as if he order were from Pan himself, no words left his lips, but she knew she had grasped his attention.
Shuffling forward as best she could, Y/n wrapped her around around the bars of her wooden prison, “Why am I in here.”
He longed to tell her the truth, longed to tell her how she had done nothing wrong and that he loved her, If it were up to the boy that cage door would be broke off it’s hinges and she would be safe in his arms. Safe from Pan, safe from the boys, safe from everything that hurt her. But he couldn’t, he could only walk away, leaving her heartbroken and disappointed.
Day quickly turned into night, the stars shining bright against their navy back drop as Y/n tried to come to terms with what was happening.
Was this all just a dream, she thought to herself. One minute her and Felix were fine, happy, laughing and giggling with each other and now, she was locked in this cage.
Goosebumps bloomed up and down her arms as she looked around, nothing but darkness, except for something lurking in the shadows. Her heartbeat quickened, what was that? Why wasn’t it moving? Was it just her eyes play tricks on her?
As if on queue the bushes begin to shake, she scattered to the far side of her cage, trying to get away from it as quickly as possible, she was not about to become bear food.
She relaxed the second she saw it was only Pan, those sinister green eyes gave her a sense of comfort from time to time.
“Oh Pan, it’s just you.” She sniffled, looking up at the boy.
The king of Neverland bent down to her level, pureeing at the little lost girl through the gaps in the cage door, “You’re probably wondering why I’ve ordered Felix to put you in this prison, It’s because you’re making him weak and weak people have no place on my island.” The green eyes monster spat.
The lost girl had never felt so much anger in her life, her blood began to boil the moment those words tumbled from his lip and oh how he loved to watch her squirm. He mocked her, replying with nothing but a smirk.
“It’s not hard to tell that my second in command has fallen for you, and that my dear, is a very dangerous game to play. Love is weakness, love is a sweet spot and my boys don’t have sweet spots.” He declarerd proudly as he promoted his group of highly weaponized teenagers, “Now if anyone else on this island were to be in love with you, I would kill them on the stop. Felix however, happens to be very special to me, very special indeed. Which is why I must keep you locked away.”
Y/n was at a loss for words, she just couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She wanted so badly to argue back, prove to him that love wasn’t weakness, it was strength but the little lost girl knew she would be wasting her breath. Pan wouldn’t listen to anyone else, no one but Felix.
Pan wasn’t here for hostilities, he wanted to make his point and leave, but she pulled the green eyed monster right back, “If I’m such a pain to you then why don’t you just send me home?”
“Oh, that wouldn’t be any fun now would it?” The leader chuckled darkly to himself, “I’m saving you for a rainy day.”
Before the girls very eyes he had disappeared into a cloud of green smoke, rendering her speechless,. What would she do? What could she do in this situation? Make a run for it, try and escape.
She shot down her own ideas once she remembered that no one left the island without Pan’s permission and he just made it very clear, he did not want her to leave.
…
Heavy footsteps are what rose the lost girl from her slumber as she rubber her tired eyes, the sun beamed down, almost blinding her as she looked up.
Jaw almost dropping once she saw the sharp features of a familiar face staring back at her holding a tray of food. She had thought long and hard last night about what she would say to Felix if she ever saw him again, but she didn’t accept to see the second in command so soon.
He smiled to himself, once again she was away with the fairies, paying not attention to what was going on around her.
No, the words echoed around the lost boys head so loud, you’re here to give her food and leave nothing more.
Heartbroken, the boy placed to plate of food just in front of her cage, he fought the urge to say something to her, say anything to her, but no words came out. Where would he even start?
“I know why I’m here.” She finally spoke up, the words made Felix stop in his track, slowly turning back around to face her in shock and disbelief.
“What?” He whispered to himself, still trying to process the words that had just fell from her lips.
“I know why I’m in this cage, it’s because Pan thinks I’m making you weak. But love isn’t weakness Felix, it’s strength and power.”
“You, you know I love you?” Felix said almost as if he didn’t want it to be true.
“Yes,” She beamed a smile spreading wide across her cheeks, “And I love you too.”
The second in command couldn’t hold himself back any longer after hearing those words, running to the cage, he flung the cage door open. Their hand intertwined as he desperately pulled her out of the cage and wrapped her up in his arm.
“I’m so sorry Pan put you in here, lets run away together, lets go somewhere, anywhere.” The boy rambled on and on making plans for the two of them to escape.
“You know we can’t do that Felix, not without Pan’s permission.” She shot him down.
The look of disappointment on the boys face was evident, she wanted more than anything to run away with him but they both knew it wouldn’t be possible for them to do.
“What should we do?” Felix asked, racking his brain for anything, just anything that would get him and Y/n off this island.
“Put me back in the cage.” The little lost girl insisted, almost as if she were stamping her foot down.
“What are you talking about-”
“Put me back in the cage, it’ll by us more time if Pan doesn’t suspect anything is wrong.” She explained, the second in command didn’t want to admit it, but he knew she was right.
“Fine.” He harshly spoke, “But I don’t like it.”
They both knew they didn’t have much time left before Pan would know something was up, as if there was a silent agreement between the two the girl nodded in his direction, voluntarily getting back into her wooden cage.
“I love you,” The blonde giant whispered, peering at the through the bars with a smile on his face.
“I love you too.” She said, watching as he trekked further and further into Neverland’s deep jungle, all the way back to camp.
The pair were flying as high as a kite, for once everything seemed to be on track, going there way, but all that faded as soon as she heard a familiar British accent.
“Well, well, well, that was quite the show.”
