i’m glad you were able to read the tags and deduce that i loved/love his character/characterisation greatly!! he really did deserve the world, especially w/ how the writers chose to tell his story [there were a lot of plot holes + unnecessary scenes!]

i was actually rewatching the show recently and ended up skipping to his character arc because he’s just…so beloved [and ofc i definitely cringed a little at how they kept flip-flopping his age + never fully addressing what it was like to be controlled by the Black Fairy for so long💔]

Finally got to watch the episode - that last 15 minutes is as good as it gets. I'm a mess. Tears. Streaming down my face. So beautiful. Pure Perfection. The musical numbers were fun. The curse mythology - i don't even understand; it is a mess. Every time someone implies that the "final battle" with the Black Fairy was the objective the entire time i want to scream. No Henry, you didn't bring Emma to storybrooke to face the final battle, you bought her to break Regina's curse. If this is what they wanted they should have bought Black into the story 3 seasons ago. As it is, it feels like a last minute change and that they are trying to con us that this was the story the whole time. Black 's motive is too thin - light & dark destined to fight - it lacks the personal element necessary to truly engage. But yeah, that wedding... i'm going to be watching that over and over again!!

there's a lot of energy thrumming in her veins. the urge to throw open the nearest door and slip through it grows with each passing second but that urge is only eclipsed by the need to stay, to stand, to fight. to do what's right. by herself, and the people in this little town that she's slowly grown to love.
