✨OKAY I’M BREAKING MY HIATUS JUST FOR THIS!! ✨
I watched the trailer for LEGO Disney Princess: Villains Unite yesterday morning, and I am SO EXCITED!! I had to come scream about it immediately!
Anyone who is familiar with me or my blog knows how deeply I adored Castle Quest, the first LEGO Disney Princess special released in August 2023. It was pure Disney crossover joy! Yes, Snow White and Gaston (and honestly half the cast) were so wildly out-of-character it felt like they were on crack—but I didn’t care. That’s part of the charm! It had that classic LEGO humor, the cheesy one-liners, the over-the-top antics, and I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time.
For those unfamiliar, LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest is a 2023 animated special that brings together five iconic princesses—Ariel, Moana, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Snow White—on a high-stakes adventure to stop Gaston from taking over their kingdoms.
At the time, I couldn’t help but feel it was a missed opportunity not to include Belle, especially given her connection to Gaston. But ironically, her absence allowed the story to spotlight Ariel’s personal conflict with Gaston, who kidnaps King Triton as part of his villainous scheme. That twist gave Ariel a more emotionally grounded arc, and I loved seeing her take the lead in confronting him—not just as a hero, but as a daughter fighting for her family.
And now we’re getting a sequel?? And it has Belle, Cinderella and Aurora!! I’m freaking losing it! X3
What’s Villains Unite About?
This time, the Disney Princesses team up again to stop Gaston and a group of iconic villains who’ve joined forces to take over the kingdoms. We’ve got Jafar, Ursula, the Evil Queen and Sir Hiss causing magical mayhem, and the princesses have to work together to stop them. It’s giving me more Disney crossover chaos and I’m here for every second of it! 😭
I took a bunch of screenshots—some are good, some are blurry messes because I was clicking like a maniac—but I’m gonna gush about them anyway. Stay tuned for the image spam and unhinged commentary~ 💖
It opens with Snow White doing the most adorable scream while running with the axe she fell in love with in the first special. I’m still on the fence about her voice actress, but that scream got me—I loved it! Plus, she’s wearing her iconic cape and her little face is just too cute! X3 I swear she’s giving “kid running with scissors” energy. It's precious but slightly concerning. 🪓😂
And we got an Easter egg of Gaston admiring his reflection in a pan! He’s doing the thing—you know, the thing!! 😍
And we got Gaston standing in front of what looks like the fountain from his and Belle’s village! Look at him! He’s so cute—probably explaining his plan.
And look, guys—we got Sir Hiss from Robin Hood! 🤯 When was the last time we saw him in anything besides House of Mouse?? Or ever officially acknowledged as a Disney villain? I’m so excited to see him specifically working with the other villains, especially Gaston. I’m already falling in love with the Gaston and Sir Hiss team-up—it’s so bizarre but weirdly fascinating. Gaston is a king in his own right, and Sir Hiss is Prince John’s advisor, so he definitely knows how to navigate guys like Gaston.
Plus, I can genuinely see a friendship working between them. Gaston loves admiring himself in the mirror—and who’s the bestie holding it up for him? Sir Hiss! He’s moved on from Prince John—he’s got a new man now, and it’s Gaston! 🤣😜
That’s it. We’ve got a new crack ship, folks: Hisston! I’m not sorry! 😆
Gaston: “I need someone who understands me the best!”
Sir Hiss: “I understand you and your best angles. Now tilt your chin—yessss, just so~” 💅✨

Okay, based on what I could tell from the trailer, Ursula gets summoned through a wishing well?? And I swear that looks like Snow White’s! Someone confirm or deny before I spiral.

This part cracked me up—Gaston’s out here flirting by quoting her mirror rhyme and flexing, and sis is like “Begone, THOT.” His face is too good—he’s like, “Ugh, fine. Whatever. You’re barely a 10 anyway.” 😒
I don’t know where Aurora wandered off to, but Snow White looks so happy surrounded by her girls. 🥰💞
Tiana—my other, other wife—looks amazing in this shot. She’s holding Snow White’s axe now, probably snatched it away and told her not to run with it lol. Also, that stained glass window behind her? Gorgeous~ 💐

She’s up to something… and the Magic Mirror’s part of it.
They summon Cinderella and she hits us with, “Let’s bibbidi bobbidi do this!” and I love her, but girl… that was peak cheese. 🧀
That line was so cheese, even Snow White was like, “Okay, we need to workshop that.”
At one point, Snow White does a full tactical stealth roll just to creep on her man and his snake boyfriend to see what they’re up to. I was so obsessed I turned it into a gif and made it my new banner. X3
And yes, I said “her man.” I ship Snow White and Gaston. And now his snake boyfriend too. Sue me. I’m in my morally questionable era.

I got this screenshot by accident, but I love it—it looks like Gaston’s doing disco and Ursula’s pose is just hnng 😩 Those hips will be the death of me. 😩 I’m also lowkey disappointed they slimmed her down, though. I’m like that Moto Moto meme: I like my sea witch wife big and chunky.
At one point, Jafar bonks Sir Hiss on the head and Gaston just looks personally wounded. Like “You hit my snake.” 😟
If that wasn’t bad enough, Gaston got bonked too. But that’s okay—because now Sir Hiss didn’t have to go through it alone.
Oh no. It's happening! Shit's about to go down! Rapunzel ditched the frying pan and picked up a mailbox. Brace yourselves~ ✨💪
I got this one by accident too and I love it. Ursula’s mid-lunge like she’s ready to throw hands, and Gaston’s channeling feral gremlin energy in the background. I’m keeping it forever.

If I didn’t already ship these two, staring at this picture is making me ship them VIOLENTLY. Also, why is Ursula holding Sir Hiss like that?
