So, since I discovered the con’s world (and that’s a reaaaally long time ago) and after watching ALL the panel videos of almost every con, I’m dreaming of having one of these experiences. Luckily, last August was confirmed a con here in Italy, and since the news came out I started to save money and to put every effort into it. It will be in April 2019, in Milan, and I will be 18 in February, 2019...so it can be a really good present, for me, by me. But my parents don’t think like this...they think it’s useless and only a waste of money, even if I continue to repeat that I will use only my money. Now, we use to travel for concerts, so it’s not unusual for them to “plan” this kind of travels...but they still think it’s a different thing than a concert. What really bother me it’s that they see and they know how much I would like to join this, what I’m doing to save money for this, but sometimes they say even things like “yeah, but even if you’re saving money, you won’t go anyway” “you will forget that” and go on. And now I don’t really know what to do, if just give up, or I don’t know...it really makes me sad that I said that I even said that I can renounce to every concert for this and the next year, but they still think that it’s a “different” thing, a too expensive thing, and I recognize that, but I’m saving for this. I’m planning on doing some job this summer, but it seems that they just don’t see that.
