does Roger drink alcohol? And if so, what kind is his favorite?
roger does not . he had 10 beers ONCE while behind the lines and had a hangover the next day. roger has the pain tolerance a 5 year old child so he kept whining and crying about his head and stomach hurting. after that he vowed to never drink again
One thing about the pain meds that you always forget (and even if you remember, what can you do about it?) is that when it's time to go back to not taking them, the migraines that you had nearly been free of (via exclusively natural / herbal methods) are baaaaaack ✨
Shannon was 26?!?! When she died?!???? She was. Literally a fucking kid. So she was like. Literally a teenager when she had Chris? Like oh my god. Baby baby baby girl pregnant right out of high school and left alone and so guilty and lonely. Leaves and then she finally gets back to her baby and then she just gets hit by a fucking car??????? Like she was literally a KID. SHANNON.
Fights between Donatello and Jase were shockingly rare.
You’d think, having been enemies in the past, the verbal spats would come up far more frequently. But typically when they both felt the need to drop smart ass comments and jabs, the jousting matches were more entertaining than they were hurtful. They both had equally smug looks on their faces as they went back and forth.
But those were never really about disagreements, or arguments, just poking fun.
So, sometimes it surprised others when a fight actually happened.
“Why don’t you do us both a favor and shove that allen wrench down you’re throat!”
Leonardo jerked in his seat at the sudden scream from Jase that carried down the hallway. He looked up from the cards in his hand--playing a few games with Mikey and his dad--and glanced back. Of course he couldn’t see anything from the kitchen table, so he stood.
“Leo.” Mikey hissed. “Don’t interfere.”
“I’m not.” He shrugged. “Just going to be nosey.”
Might as well be honest about it. It was just karma for the fact that Jase teased him just as much as Donnie did.
He drew a portal in the air with his hand, slipping out into the hall near Donnie’s room. The pair of them stood outside the door, not even noticing Leo as their eyes shot daggers at each other.
“You’re being so immature about this.” Donnie clutched at the air, using his height to lean over Jase who stood almost a foot shorter than him.
“I’m being immature? You’re the one trying to come up with eighteen different tech solutions to a problem you should just try to confront yourself.” Jase, as usual, didn’t let the height difference intimidate him. Despite how meek he appeared at times he never hesitated to square his shoulders in front of Donnie.
“If you want to confront it so bad, why don’t you just tell your dad the truth?” Donnie crossed his arms.
“Because I’m not sure he’d even believe me. Sure, let me just go home and say ‘hey dad, that boyfriend I mentioned? Yeah he’s a mutated turtle who thinks he’s the hottest shit in the city.’ No sane person would have doubts about that.”
Leo wasn’t sure if he should smile at the sharp insult or cringe. He could practically see the intensity rising.
“Why do we even have to tell him?”
“Because he’s my dad! The only good parent I have. I don’t want to keep something like this from him.”
“And what if you tell him and he forces us to split up?”
“You think I haven’t considered that? If you would just listen to me and approach it properly we could--”
“Jase, sometimes it doesn’t matter how you approach it. It goes wrong. Why don’t you just trust me and--”
“Why don’t you just trust me?”
The screaming got louder and louder. Now Leo started to think this was a horrible idea. He should duck out while he still had the opportunity.
Jase continued. “At the very least you could have just let us have a proper discussion about this instead of acting like making a stupid hologram would fix the whole ‘meet the parent’ set up.”
“Scoff, it is not a stupid hologram.”
“You’re missing the point of this entire discussion.”
“Well you’re getting way too worked up over the idea of me meeting your parent like it’s necessary.” Donnie growled, trying to look tall once again. “How do I even put up with you?”
Leo felt the tension in the air shift. Less like settling on the floor and more like slamming into it like a lead brick.
Jase’s entire demeanor changed. His sharp glare and square shoulders crumbled. He seemed to shrink, taking a step back, almost terrified.
And Donnie must have realized his mistake. Fear crossed his face. “Jase? Sorry, I didn’t--”
Jase’s glare returned, in spite of the fact he started to shake. “If you don’t want to put up with me then don’t!” He spun around and sprinted toward the exit. Donnie called after him, but didn’t chase him very far.
Leo let out a low whistle.
His twin must have heard that, spinning around with his teeth bared. “Leo? What the hell? How long have you been there?”
“Uh, when you first started screaming?” He shrugged and tried to phase into the wall.
No luck. Donnie stomped over and grabbed the strap across his chest to jerk him forward. “Stay out of my business.”
“If you want that, try not to shout so loud we can hear you in the kitchen.” Leo shoved his hand off. “...everything okay?”
“It clearly isn’t.” Donnie grinned at him while glaring. “Did you not just see that? He...” His expression dropped as his gaze moved to the floor. “I shouldn’t have said that.”
Leo hummed. “Going to apologize?”
“Yes.” Donnie admitted. “But I have to give him some space first, or he’ll throw objects at me until I leave.”
Leo wanted to ask why it was even so bad, wanted to pry into it further, but he wouldn’t. Donnie would no doubt bite his head off if he tried.
Still, he’d take any chance to lecture his twin.
“You know you should go meet his dad.” Leo crossed his arms as he leaned against the wall again.
“I know.” Donnie spat. “I’m just... scared.”
“Then tell him that instead of being a dumb dumb about it.”
“I don’t want any lectures from your aro ace ass Leo.” He pointed at him. “I’ll... figure it out.”
“Eh, if anyone in this family can it’s probably you.” Leo shrugged and moved to draw a portal back to the kitchen. “Want to join us for cards to cool down?”
“Thanks but no thanks, being competitive right now won’t help me.” He sighed. “I’m going to go to the bagel shop.”
“Oooh, bring me back something?”
Donatello looked like he was about to say no.
So Leo opened the portal and waved at him as he stepped through. “Thanks a lot, love you bro, bye.”
He stepped back into the kitchen to see Mikey and Splinter both staring at him, unimpressed.
“You better not have made it worse.” Splinter scolded.
“Donnie doesn’t need my help for that.” Leo picked up his cards as he sat down. “Now, who’s ready for me to win this round?”
