Who takes care of caretakers needs, or do they have to do that alone? How do they/would they respond to receiving help?

tom - actually amy? like of all the people he listens to her. or is okay to be led away from dangerous/self-destructive situations by her. everyone else is a little too afraid to offer help because on some level they're aware that he's going to reject it. he won't take care of himself at amy's request but if she pulls him to the bathroom with clean clothes he'll get the message and shower. etc.
ada - she is an expert in dealing with things herself. she has reminders to take her meds (i think she's on lexapro sjfkf) and she may have quit therapy but she has other friends than the cluster and while she never told them anything specific she said her friend went missing and they did things like taking more detailed lecture notes for her and asking if she wanted help researching ,, it felt like very little in the grand scheme of things but she did appreciate it. she appreciates clem's little check-ins as well :)
elene - aaaaah. covered this in canon but clem is basically the only person who elene leans on. you'd think that the sisters help each other but they grew up so separate that they can't actually hug without feeling awkward. (it rly hits in chapter 19 when they do.) she accepts help with the quiet awe that comes with being a touch starved oldest sibling golden child all her life. no one else really offers. elene doesn't have anyone else.
clem - 😐 blinks sadly at my self sacrificial knight. i think at the start they speak to (their childhood best friend + fellow knight) ruth, not about feelings of inadequacy, but about plans and ideas with increasing levels of unhinged panic as time goes on, knowing that she'll reign them in. they stop doing this after a little while. elene is the only person who notices their cracks and they do not accept help about it. they can't.
amy - oh amy :( she has her partners (amber + evan) but she doesn't really Talk about anything she just throws herself at them and holds them really tight. she doesn't have many needs (she's half angel ^_^) so doesn't need to sleep or eat or anything but they make sure she does. it's very self destructive on her end. tom probably makes a half hearted attempt to get her to do what she's telling him to do but she bats it away. there's no resentment towards him. and she spends a lot of time thinking. i think she blames herself. she wasn't there on that day. she should've been there.
