oh. oughhh. augh cowboy outlaw kara save me. ummm immediately.
musing while i doodled these. kara’s hometown was destroyed (somehow) so she took to the roads on her own and turned to thieving and robbery to survive. she’s a bit of a known name and most people know to keep their heads down and be quiet when they see that white horse and his rider on the horizon (yes it’s comet). she doesn’t like to kill and avoids it when possible, but is not above it.
winn grew up pretty poor, living in a run down little town where his father didnt bring in much money making and selling his toys. his dad was abusive, his mother neglectful, and winn ran away at the ripe old age of eleven after nearly being beaten to within an inch of his life by his father while his mother just watched. he stayed with a few families willing enough to house him, never for very long, until he settled somewhere he deemed far enough away, and began living off the land on his own little farm. he’s not well off, but he sells his produce and has a few chickens for eggs and he gets by.
and ummm. something something kara tries to rob winn or something or maybe she needs some good food for comet anddd they fall in love and maybe kara continues her outlawing but at least she has someone to come back to and an actual reason besides her horse to keep going yk and winn keeps looking after his crops and he saves a few of the best ones for comet and yeah maybe he does still get a little weak in the knees when he sees kara come riding back down the farm track
