Donald Sutherland is the legendary actor who once acted with both actresses... but not in the same production, sadly!
On the top we have Donald and Tina as Giacomo Casanova and Henriette in Fellini’s Casanova (1976). She was the only woman who, according to biographers, has indelibly marked his life.
At the bottom we have Donald with Jane in the “Crossing Lines” TV Series, Season 3, Episode 4 “Recoil”, aired on October 16, 2015. Jane said of him: "... My scenes were all with Donald Sutherland, who is as charming and clever as he appears on screen”.
Tina was the daughter of two famous film stars, Maria Montez, the Dominican actress nicknamed "Queen of Technicolor" who appeared in many adventure films from the 1940s Holywood, and French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont. She lived a bohemian life-style in the 1960s meeting many artists, musicians and filmmakers. Jane started acting when she was only 5 and her career spans over 8 decades. In the 1960s she also led a life that was always on the media because of her relationship with musician Paul McCartney from The Beatles. Besides acting, she bakes, was a stage producer, has published some novels and had a cake shop in London. She's been married for 50 years to cartoonist Gerald Scarfe and they had 3 children.
We don't know if in the 1960s or 1970s Tina and Jane were friends or knew each other - that would have been wonderful! But we do know that thanks to Donald Sutherland they are one degree only separated one from the other! For sure there's more connections between them, for the meantime, we hope you enjoyed this one!
