Romitri AU - Setting up the House
Rose let out an exasperated sigh and turned to face me.
"Could you take this seriously?" she asked, staring at the cow print lamp shade I had in my hand in distain. I grinned at her and put the lamp down.
"Come on Roza, you are taking this so seriously. It's furniture!" I said. Rose glanced at me and shook her head.
"I told you that when we moved in together that I wanted to make sure we had proper furniture. Do you realise that I haven't actually had anything like this before? The academy doesn't count and when Lissa and I were on the run…we couldn't relax long enough to personalise our rooms. I want something that’s ours Dimitri," she said softly, linking her arms through mine. I stopped, pulling her to a stop beside me.
"Roza, we'll find things for our house. Stop worrying about this. I'm not going anywhere," I told her. I tilted her chin up and pressed a kiss against her lips.
"And I promise I won't suggest any other cowboy themed lamps," I promised, grinning at her. "Now let's get some furniture," I said brightly.

"дерьмо," I muttered, rubbing my thumb and staring at the furniture angrily. Rose let out a laugh and grabbed the hammer from me, she nudged me out of the way and set the nail carefully on the plywood. She knocked it into place and smirked at me.
"I thought you were supposed to be good at stuff like this?" she teased. I scoffed.
"That contraption was invented by demons," I muttered. Rose laughed, standing up.
"My husband…can take on an army of Strigoi but can't assemble furniture," she teased. I grabbed her waist and pulled her onto the floor beside me.
"You're getting too big for your boots," I told her, arching my eyebrow. Rose laughed and flipped me over so that I was lying underneath her.
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?" she asked. I stared up at her, my eyes locking on hers. The fire in her eyes sent a thrill down my spine. I rested my hand on her hips and smiled.
"I'm sure I could think of a few things," I whispered pressing my lips against hers.
