In ETD can you do a drabble where Eclipse and Ruin are just cuddling each other and where Eclipse just falls asleep on him?

Today has been a day, is all he can say about it. But maybe it'll have an alright ending.

Eclipse sighs, pressing into the eldritch being underneath him. He feels spent, endoless in a way he didn't think was possible. Yes, the ending of today has certainly been satisfying.

Ruin's fingers are rubbing carefully against his shoulders, almost like a massage. It soothes him even more.

He's tired. Luckily, there's no need for him to be aware of much right now. They're the only ones left on this rig. Ruin made sure of it.

His lover hums a cheerful little tune, seemingly only half here with him. Something probably caught his attention, maybe one of those weird sea creatures he likes looking at occasionally. That's fine, Eclipse is sure he'll hear all about it later.

The bed they're in is nice and soft, smelling quite heavily of something sweet, fragrant, and of... something else as well.

Eclipse yawns, not bothering to fight his exhaustion. He can relax now

Fingers run through his rays, scratching at their base, and if he wasn't so tired he might have allowed his systems to purr in satisfaction. As it is, he just leans into it some more.

He's aware of the sleep sneaking up on him. Like another warm layer of a blanket is falling over him. It's nice. Makes him feel even more cozy.

Perhaps a nap wouldn't be such a bad idea

His optics offline, his systems shutting down, one by one. He still feels the hands on him still.

"Oh, sweet dreams love"

And then it's warm darkness that greets him

Could we have a drabble of ETD Eclipse getting sick and Ruin taking care of him? I can’t decide if he’d actually be good at it or mess it up lol

Well, the only way he can really get sick is by downloading a virus, which not sure how that could happen, but I am just gonna not figure that out at all. He's just gonna be sick

And he'd probably do both. Take care of him successfully, but would be panicking

Eclipse did not know he could get sick. But then again, he didn't know eldritch beings existed until one literally uprooted his life, so what does he know, really?

But what he does know, is that Ruin should probably not be trusted with caring for him. Not because he's made it worse or something, but because well...

The bed he's been forced into has been dragged into the center of his lover that's upon this rig, with the lift, which he's noticed the amalgam always keeps, being supported by tendrils. Probably to hold the weight of the ones that are bothering him.

"Ruin, I got a headache and just a general feeling of awfulness and weakness. I'm not dying."

The d-word is apparently not appreciated. He can see the little star-like apperations shudder around. He has a feeling it may as well be banned soon.

"Yes darling, and what are you exactly?"

Eclipse sighs, staring up at the ceiling of fleshy growth above him. It at least doesn't have any of the cyst things. Only the otherwordly blue glowing parts. Those are pretty.

"I am not doing this with you again."

The avatar appears in the room with them in that moment to throw more blankets, salvaged from fuck knows where, at him. By this point he's fairly certain he's going to overheat, but whatever. He's been a little chilly.

"You shouldn't be talking anyway! Save your energy love! You need all of it!"

He can't stop himself from rolling his optics, because really, he's not on his deathbed. He's not going to just keel over or whatever because he dared to make noise.

Ruin has apparently noticed it though, now that he can actually see in the same way as Eclipse can, and gives him a reproachful tap. It's much lighter than it usually would be. Probably to avoid making his arm fall off or something.

"Nuh uh! You won't give me any attitude mister! Focus on getting better!"

"I think you're focusing enough for the both of us."

The wall of tendrils around him shivers, and Eclipse sighs. When he makes grabby hands at the avatar, apparently the eldritch abomination can't bring himself to say no.

Ruin slips into his arms like he was made to fit there, which... might actually be true in a way. Even if it was meant for more sinister purposes initially. But that does not matter now.

What matters is finally being able to hug his lover in a not fleshy way. Because he does have to admit he likes feeling metal under his fingers more than he does flesh. Even if both are nice.

"Really love, I'm fine"

He doesn't usually use petnames. That's his lover's thing. They're both happy that way.

But it does make the animatronic body pressed against him relax, a sigh escaping as well. A hand comes up to play with his rays lightly, and he's fairly certain even with the offline otpics of the avatar before him, he's being seen in other ways.

"Fine, fine darling, I can cuddle. I shouldn't make it worse in any way."

Now he's aware that Ruin is actually extremely scared by the power differences between the two of them. By the fact that Eclipse, despite not actually aging and not having a lifespan, is a mortal. Which means he can be killed pretty easily by anything that is from the world of his lover. Or by Ruin himself. He usually tries not to think too much about it.

"If you stop being difficult and get some of these stupid blankets off of me, my headache may get better. Just saying"

His lover shoots him a dirty look, but he does remove some of the blankets, so he'll take it as a win. They're probably still kept close by in case of an 'emergency'.

"Good, now cuddle me"

"Already doing that my darling little treasure"

If he goes to sleep right now, he's probably going to wake up to another bout of panic, and probably even more blankets on him. It's not a good idea to sleep now, because how will he manage his lover?

But he's tired. He's in pain. He just wants to be held and nap. He doesn't care. He really, really doesn't.

So he closes his optics, and lets himself fall asleep at the feeling of his lover pressing a kiss to his cheek

So I kinda wanna see a continuation of that other drabble, the one where SEA'S Bloodmoon "killed" Eclipse, like I'd imagine the fam gets back in the cell and stays there for a few days, going through several emotions, and then Eclipse just waltzes on in and be like "damn, who died and made you depressed?" X,D

I know that Eclipse wouldn't actually say that but it just kinda popped Into my head X,D

Trigger warning for Past Character Death and Past Injury

His new body feels uncomfortable. Extremely so. Maybe because he liked the old one.

But it is what it is, he was honestly expecting this to happen sooner. Given his profession he thought he was gonna lose that body way faster. The fact it lasted this long is honestly impressive.

He's been given a nice couple of days to get his shit together, his therapist essentially frothing at the mouth due to this newest trauma. Which sadly couldn't be ignored, and now he's once again forced to admit that maybe he's actually bothered by SCPs attacking him, and mentally torturing him, randomly.

But today is the big day, where he'll be reintroduced to SCP-13666 and all its dashes. Here's to hoping it actually goes well.

Dr Smith, his unofficial right hand on the case is waiting for him outside the door, looking relieved to see him. He even offers a friendly handshake, which Eclipse takes. No need to be a bitch for no reason.

"Good to have you back Sir! The situation without you has been a mess."

Apparently the SCPs have not said a word since his body was taken from them. Which had to be taken by extreme force. Even the new ones, who took his fucking favourite body away, have been quite fierce in the defense of his 'corpse'.

Apparently they wanted to bury him. Which is a terrifying thought.

It does make him wonder if perhaps... he's assumed some things.

"Alright everyone, hide the messes before I fucking see them!"

The researchers under him snap to attention, most relieved, some neutral, a couple disgruntled. The nightmarish fox currently, currently the only animatronic on security duty, gives him a big friendly smile.

He can feel certain familiar gazes burning into him, and he already doesn't want this conversation. But alas, can't really do anything about it, now can he?

Killcode is the first one he locks optics with, taken aback by the grief he sees there. And by the slight anger. Solar Flare is shaking, from what he can see.

His would be murderers have gone horrifyingly still

Eclipse feels himself tense

He really shouldn't. He knows he really fucking shouldn't, that he'll just make it all worse. He really, really doesn't want to.

But the words leave his voicebox anyway, in an attempt to maybe lighten the mood.

"Damn, you all look ready for a funeral. Don't bury me just yet!"

Recognition flares in the large, blood red eyes, and then the glass smashes to pieces. He can't stop the flinch, even if he's somewhat sure now that nothing will happen.

Large hands wrap around him, pressing him against a warm chest. Killcode lets out a wounded sound, and something breaks in Eclipse too.

He wraps his arms around the nightmare, making the conscious effort to make his systems purr. He presses his face into the great SCP's neck, hiding away both from himself, and from the world.

He doesn't let himself dwell on just how painful and terrifying that whole thing was. He can do that later, in a dark corner or something.

Someone latches onto his legs, the claws familiar. He snorts as Solar Flare climbs up on him, like some sort of unholy mix between a hedgehog and a koala. But he knows it needs to join in on this hug. He can feel it shake, sensitive soul that it is.

"How?"

It's quite. Clearly, his father is not quite keen on breaking the moment

"I'm an animatronic Killcode. I don't really need my body to be alive."

That's not exactly true, seeing as how being in his chips is essentially a forced sleeping state, but that's not important right now. What's important is the here and now.

And he has two other people to confront

He pulls away, much to the obvious displeasure of the two SCP around him, but he doesn't care. He also doesn't care about the sudden stillness as he turns towards Bloodmoon.

They're staring at him, wide otpicked and shocked. But he thinks he sees relief there. Their shoulders drop the more he looks back.

He doesn't want to approach. Every part of him is screaming to not go close. To keep away from the obvious violent freaks that have torn him apart.

He doesn't listen to that voice. Because he's well aware he's not exactly one who should be judging here

He's done equally awful things. And Eclipse didn't even suffer any lasting damage from their encounter.

He pushes away the memories resolutely

"I should honestly be angrier at you two freaks for what you did."

Maybe the antagonistic tone is stupid of him. Maybe he should not irritate people who clearly have the capacity to hurt him. But he doesn't care much.

He doesn't need to either apparently, because the twins begin laughing. It's... something of a concerning sound.

"We would undoubtedly deserve it! Blood for blood spilled! Hate would be correct we admit! You we have almost killed!"

He flinches back from the dual voices, not missing how aware they seem to be of that movement. They're slow to stand up.

"So our life you now owe"

"What?!"

They laugh again, more of that jarring insanity. The pentagrams they have for eyes seem to shine brighter. There's something... not quite stable in there.

"Our mistake we won't repeat. Not until our ends we meet."

That sounds like a promise he has no idea what to do with

Well, I'm not a native English speaker, so whenever I have issues I just blame it on that lol. Hungarian is pretty different from English, after all, I am blamin everything on that lol

I also have no idea how to do that, but when have my stories ever had plans that weren't just "Step 1: This is such a fun idea! Step 2: ?????? I'll figure it out when I get there bro Step 3: Profit"?

Eclipse doesn't know exactly how he ended up here, hanging by the foot from Killcode's hold, but he's here nontheless.

Maybe it has something to do with how he playfully insulted the giant's manner of speech? Maybe he really shouldn't have told Killcode how he speaks like an old man.

"Not until you apologise~!"

He can't stop himself from letting out a laugh.

"This is not fair! You're so much bigger and stronger than me!"

"Too bad! Maybe next time don't insult my perfectly fine manner of speech!"

"Don't speak like you do then! I feel like you're a wise old master who'll train me so I can become the next Dragon Warrior or something!"

That does not, in fact, make his situation better. It makes it worse, even if the nightmare lets out an audible snort at that.

He's given a shake, a careful one, sure, but a shake nontheless, and he yelps. He clutches at the ruffles around Killcode's waist in the hopes of stabilising himself.

"I am no Master Oogway-"

"But you'd defenitely blow out the candles the same exact way as him!"

His father laughs outloud now, the image just too much to handle, even for him. But he then brings Eclipse up, until he can lean down to look into his optics, and he knows that things will, once more, unsurprisingly, get worse.

"Such disrespect"

"Yeah, I know, I know, back in your day you'd have been fed to a grizzly bear if you acted like this. But times change, old man!"

Killcode shakes his head, smile loving and warm. But he knows that means nothing in war.

"Well then my child, let's see which of us will win then."

"Of course, mother Toriel"

I saw a drabble a while ago of a swap version of Witching Hour, where Lunar and Bloodmoon were raised by Killcode and Bloodmoon found kid Eclipse being chased by hunters so they adopted him. I was wondering if you’d be interested in doing a continuation of that drabble? Totally cool if not though :)

Hello! We're melting lol, but otherwise fine! :D

And sure! I am not gonna put KC in this one for spoiler reasons, and I am once again reiterating this is not how canon WH Eclipse was found by KC! This is it's own unique thing!

Also, first drabble here

Finding their dad is easier said than done. Keeping up with him whenever they go anywhere is kind of a hassle, because he covers long distances so fast it's unfair! Probably has to do with his long legs, which Lunar is half convinced he somehow channels into his traveling powers. Or maybe he still hasn't figured out what he is, which is not surprising.

The kid is fed at least now! Bloodmoon threw together a filling lunch for him, and they always carry snacks on them anyway. He's barely not shoveling any of them at the poor witchling as is.

Starvation was not fun. He doesn't think he can ever forget it, especially because his body never lets him, nor his brothers, forget it. Though their dad did wonder whether Lunar would have always just stayed small. That is also a possibility, he says.

They'll never know

"The house should be another day's journey from here at least? Then I can go shopping and get something more hearty than what we have on us now."

Eggs would be good, as well as fresh meat and fruit. Honey too, the sticky sweetness is very healthy according to dad. And Eclipse most definetly needs some sweets right now. He should also get herbs. Neither of them can brew exactly, that's a witch thing, but some medicines are simple enough to make!

Oh dear nature, they should bring the kid to a doctor! But he should also rest! Maybe bring the doctor to the house? Wouldn't be the first time in their long acquaintanceship!

Bloodmoon is clearly writing these exact same things on the list too. They'll probably present him with one once they get back home, just to make sure he doesn't miss anything. Between the three of them, they should be fine, right? Right?

How is dad doing this?

Eclipse hasn't really said anything since he told them his name. It worries him, but sadly they can't really do anything about it right now. Depending on what horrors happened to him, he may not talk for a while.

His mental health just isn't that high up on the list currently. First they need to deal with his physical health. Then they can get to that. It'll be easier like that.

He feels awful about it

Here's this kid, in need of someone trustworthy, anyone really, to tell him it's gonna be fine now in a way that'll actually be beliavable. And yet, he's stuck with the three of them.

Rusty has his moments of being quite wise, as does Bloody, but ultimately, they're, and he thinks this with love, chaotic idiots, who practice blood magic, one of the more brutal and volatile forms of magic that's avaible to magicless beings. They also dabble with divination sometimes, but they're... not the best at it. They usually only get vague, very ominious answers.

And Lunar is... well, he's himself. Unserious, and unprepared for children. On bad days he hasn't even moved past what happened to them! Granted, those are few and far inbetween, but still. He's most definetly not the kid raising material that's needed here.

Should they try calling their dad? They should probably try calling their dad. This feels like a severe enough situation for that.

The kid is so small. He's even shorter than Lunar. And while they washed the worst of the oil and blood off of him, he's still limping. From the frootprints they know one of the hunters stomped on it. Probably to stop him from getting away. His little dress is all torn too, but he refused to change into something else. It's possible he's... holding on to his life before this. Lunar wouldn't be surprised.

Electricity wants to dance along his fingers. He stops it from happening. No need to alarm anyone, just because he's angry.

He hasn't really wanted to kill a person before. Not using his powers anyway. The less said to his thoughts of the village people he turned on inm the better. He's not particularly happy with those

"We should stop and rest, and that ask is no jest. Child needs his rest. And he will not test."

They give the witchlet a look, which earns a tiny scowl. The kid at least still has some fight in him. Even if he's aiming it at them right now, by trying to wander off from them. Even if he does seem to somewhat like Bloodmoon.

Maybe he wants to go back to his home. Lunar wouldn't be surprised if he was dragged away from it before it was burned down, or if he ran off before that could happen and was caught later. It's anyone's guess right now.

"Stop trying to rhyme, and use sentences like a normal person!"

It's mostly unserious, his attempts to maybe lighten the mood for the witchling, but his brothers do give him a slightly offended look. They even snap their teeth at him! He mock-gasps

"So now you won't even talk! Are you animals!"

They, just to be assholes, growl at him, then making a distinctly deer-like noise. Just because they can apparently.

He shoots them a dirtylook, bringing his hand up to hide his grin as he spies Eclipse trying not to smile in the face of this silliness. He feels himself relax a bit. Bloodmoon, who shouldn't see the witchling smiling, does too.

"Well, if you're a deer now guess we have to cook you for dinner!"

And just because it earns them a quiet little snicker, he's going to excuse the jab they throw at him

Can you do a sea one where eclipse is a child scp, who for one reason or another is completely alone, meeting the scp family and instantly getting adopted?

Everything is so big! Or is he just small? He can't really tell!

Eclipse looks on with wonder at the nature surrounding him, following a flying thing that floats too close to him with his eyes. Those look incredibly creepy! He doesn't want any near him!

His middle hurts. It started hurting a little bit ago. He thinks it means he's hungry, but he doesn't know how to get food! When he tried hunting it was so hard!

Maybe he should try hiding and jumping out at things? Could that work? But what if there's more of those creepy crawling things in the bushes? They're already everywhere!

His eyes feel wet, which is weird and uncomfortable and he doesn't like it, like he doesn't like the hiccups that have started up as the liquid started escaping and he hates the sounds too and he-

A twig snaps, and he jumps, turning to look in its direction. The sudden fear of something scary and dangerous flashes in his mind.

Before him is a creature that looks like him. Only, this one is huuuuuuuuge! He falls back to the ground by just looking up at it!

It's also very scary! If he wasn't shaking so badly, he might try to run, but his stupid legs wouldn't cooperate, so he's probably going to get eaten! He doesn't want to get eaten!

Only, the beast croons at him, and something in him relaxes. He sniffs as it walks closer.

"Hello little one. Are you lost?"

"Lost?"

He doesn't think so? Because to be lost he has to belong to somewhere, doesn't he? And he doesn't have a territory yet!

"Where are your parents? They shouldn't have left you alone"

He shakes his head, speedily scrubbing at his face. He probably looks stupid!

"I don't have parents"

He hasn't ever heard of these parents before, but the smart part of him knows those are what the nurturers are called! The ones he doesn't think he has, because he hasn't been here for long.

"Just woke up"

The creature hums, crouching down to help him wipe away the stupid wetness from his face. It feels nice

"Would you like one?"

Eclipse blinks, looking back up at him. His rays move around his head in the surprised way they have done before.

"You can get those?"

The being chuckles, and begins reaches out for him. He doesn't fight being picked up. It feels nice.

"Yes, you can, even if you didn't have any before."

Oh! That's good!

"Can you be my parent then?"

The giant nuzzles him, letting out a soothing rumble. Eclipse's body goes entirely limp in relaxation.

"I was planning on that anyway, little one."

Then he stands up, and begins moving. It kind of rocks him, which is nice. It makes him yawn. That means he's going to need to sleep soon.

"I'm Killcode. What is your name?"

"Eclipse"

Killcode is warm, and comfy. His hands are the perfect place to take a nap, especially leaning against his chest like this!

"Nice to meet you Eclipse. I will be your new father, and you will have two uncles and four older siblings."

He knows what siblings are, those are the packmates you share parents with. But what's the other one?

"What's an uncle?"

"Your parents' brothers."

"Oh!"

So they're also packmates who're family!

"Did you make another one?!"

Is what his new, blue and silver packmate greets him with, who looks similar to his new dad! Eclipse blinks at him and his uncle blinks back.

"I didn't have a parent before! But now I have one and I also have brothers and uncles! I also learned what an uncle is!"

He tries to be friendly and smile at his packmate, but for some reason he looks sad for a moment. But the next he's returning his smile, and even pets him!

"That so? I guess that's fine!"

The yellow one next to him, who's been quiet so far, also gives him a bright smile, coming in to greet him as well.

"These are your new uncles, Moon and Sun."

And now looking at them, they really are somewhat similar he guesses. Though they aren't glowing!

"Where are my children?"

"In the current den I think? Moon said Bloodmoon came back from their hunt at least!"

And with that they move on from his uncles, who're going out to hunt together. His new dad was supposed to do that, but then he found Eclipse, so he's now on different pack duty!

His siblings are interesting when he's finally introduced to them too!

The eldest ones, called Bloodmoon, share a body! But they can separate! That's so cool! They're also very exited to greet him, and are happy to scent him.

Solar Flare, who has two names for some reason, seems a bit shy, but Eclipse can work with that! He can be a good brother! And he must already be, because it allows him to scent it!

Lunar is a bit less excited to see him, but he thinks it's more from surprise? They're around the same age he thinks, so that may be weird! His other three siblings are big already, two practically adults, so that might be the problem! He's going to win this brother of his over too, that's for sure!

His new family seems so nice! He's glad to be with them, especially because they have tasty food, there's none of those creepy crawling things here, they seem fun and they have a safe, fluffy nest! One he's allowed to curl up in for sleep.

His dad also stays with him, sharing his warmth and comfort and care. It's nice. He thinks he can get used to it

Can you do an ETD drabble of Eclipse having a panic attack over him remembering how he was treated as an object on the rig?

I shall my best, though I'll admit I twisted this one a bit. Hopefully it shall still suffice

Eclipse is- Eclipse is frankly feeling awful

New rig, new people to kill, even if he's only an accomplice. One step closer to shore, one step closer to land.

This rig is... something. This rig makes him feel claustrophobic, but on the inside. He's never knew you could feel so small before. Which is funny, given his lover! It really is! The irony is not lost on him!

But-But he doesn't- He doesn't-

It started that morning. It was the morning when the downfall was to start.

And he started it by having clothes dumped on him

On this rig they didn't even bother to give him a room. Why should they? He's just a thing. Not something alive.

Ruin was quite angered by that one

People on here have been even bigger assholes than he thought possible. Like sure, he's used to being shouted at, used to the whole being a servant bullshit. But that doesn't mean it's any less demeaning. Or that he can handle such an excessive amount

His casing itches, his systems insisting on gulping for air he doesn't actually need, not in the same way as humans at least. He wants to scream, but it feels like something's blocking his voice.

His hands are shaking. He's noticed that a while ago, and decided to ignore it. It doesn't matter, it'll be over soon.

He just- He just needs to-

He takes in another deep breath, or at least triest to. It seems to go down the wrong way, which he didn't even know was possible.

His chest hurts. He never knew anxiety could make his actually, physically hurt before. And he's been through a lot.

His legs give out on him, and he stares at them dumbly. He did not expect that. He really, really did not expect that

When did they get so unstable?

His rays rattle, making him even more tense. The silence surrounding him is all encompassing. He looks at the tools spread all around him, the ones he just dropped, and feels like one of them.

He's never really had any hope of being treated as something alive. Some ugly part of him always knew that just because his first crew was pretty great, that it wouldn't last. That he'd sooner or later end up being treated as what he was made for.

A tool. An object to help the crew in any way.

He's noticed the not-so suble glances thrown his way. He knows what was coming, what he was built for

He thinks he's sick

"Darling?"

He jumps, not expecting the voice. It's familiar though

He notices that he seems to be running quite hot right when a cool hand lands on him. Something in him eases up

He's being touched. Not being passed through.

It's okay, it's started. He's fine now

He wishes he could tell his systems that

"My dear treasurem, just breathe. You can correct me later about how you don't actually need to do that."

It's meant to be something of a joke, but it's a bit too strained to properly land. He tries to snort, but only a strangled feedback of static comes back up.

The world feels unsteady. He's not sure if that's because of what Ruin is doing or if it's just him

Hands wrap around him carefully, pulling him against the cool avatar of his lover. The eldritch being murmurs something he doesn't quite catch. Not until the back of his head is gently grabbed, and his face is hidden into that ridiculous neck ruffle.

"It's alright my love, it's over. You're safe now"

He latches onto that with the entirety of his being, willing himself to believe it. If only because his lover will make it real.

His overtaxxed systems don't slow down for a long while. He's not sure how much time passes, with them just sitting there.

Ruin never once leaves
