The more I knit and more designs/patterns I try the more I realize my love for big basic projects. Give me chunky yarn, large needles, and a little inspiration and I’ll usually end up knitting a blanket. It might be my favorite item to make and who doesn’t want a hand knitted cozy blanket?! 🌻Support Small Businesses 🌻 • Let me tell you guys how much I’m loving this job. A customer came in yesterday shaking my hand and introducing himself and noticed my cat ears. Asked about them and I explained my love for cats and my two boys. He ran out to his care and gifted me with a little 3-D printed cat shaped phone stand! It was the sweetest thing. • The community in and around @recesscoffee is so wonderful! Supporting small not only helps the business but grows a community. If you’re in Syracuse check out the shop because these Lavender lattes are bomb and who doesn’t want to give that bagel a try! 🤤 • If I’m not working there, I’m knitting there. Who saw that coming? Lol This is my first larger project in worsted weight and I’m surprised at how much I’m enjoying it. Even though I’m having to frog a ton. I mean a ton haha I hope to finish this panel by this weekend. Learning new stitches can do that to you I guess. Even with the frogging, learning something new is exciting!
