Did you really just quote me? You’re dumb, I love you so much.
Of course I did. They asked for one of my favorite quotes, so I gave them one. Stop saying things that make my knees weak and I won’t have to quote you.
Oh, and I love you, too.

↳ A CLOSER LOOK:
David and Lou-Ann Harper did not want children. Not so much because they didn’t have the love to give them, it was more the money. However, when Lou-Ann fell pregnant with their third child only a year after giving birth to their second daughter, who was born only a year after their first, they made the decision to keep her; their religious beliefs allowing no other option, anyway. The Harper’s own the only meat farm in Cotton Plant, which would probably be successful were it not for the fact that Lou-Ann is, for lack of a better word, weird. And David loves beer more than life. Due to this, it’s very poorly run, so the family have always struggled for money.
Chloe, who flat out refuses to respond to her given name and instead goes by CeCe, found her own path at a very young age. It started with the youngster doodling on sheets of paper. There wasn’t much else to do at home, so whenever her sisters were busy, that was how CeCe made her fun. Her doodles were nonsensical to begin with, but quickly progressed into actual, decipherable drawings, and it became evident soon after that CeCe had an incredible talent as far as art. She turned out to be passionate about it, too.
One evening, having decided that paper just wasn’t enough for her, she took to her bedroom wall, seeing it as a blank canvas. Were it not for how ridiculously good the finished product looked, her parents would’ve likely punished her more, but even they couldn’t deny that Chloe (they have always refused to call her CeCe)’s work was great. With a God given talent, she kind of became their little star, their golden child, so when her oldest sister was kicked out of their home during their teenage years, and she was asked, “Why can’t you be more like Chloe?” despite CeCe having no idea, she sort of lost her sister. She resented her parents for what they did to Dani, but in the process of exploring her own sexuality, she was too scared to say anything to them. The moment her middle sister graduated high school, though, CeCe was out of there right alongside her.
Along with her sister, CeCe rented a tiny apartment in their hometown, using the money they’d made from working part-time jobs for the past couple years to pay their bills and first few months rent. A year later, CeCe graduated high school, and was granted a scholarship to Arkansas State to study Art, but knew she’d need more money than she was making doing odd jobs around town, so went in search of something else. In Brinkley, there was a tattoo studio, Tattoo Envy, where CeCe had gotten a few tattoos of her own done already. They were looking for a junior artist, so CeCe tried her luck with an application, and was almost shocked when they hired her. Seven years later, she’s still working there, though she’s now full time and one of their best rated tattoo artists. She’s a trained piercer by now, too.
Having graduated from college now, CeCe takes her body art incredibly seriously. Her own collection of tattoos is ever growing, with her dream being to open her own studio someday, and is always looking for new artistic opportunities. When Motta Adventure Land came along, they were hiring face painters, so CeCe took the idea to Mr. Motta of painting tattoo designs on people’s arms and legs. It has actually been pretty well received, so as well as her full time job, CeCe now works part time at the park, giving kids fake tattoos. It’s fun, and makes her a bit of extra money on the side, so it’s win-win.
Back to her sexuality, however, CeCe realized before she'd even graduated high school that she had no romantic connection with the opposite sex. Sexually, she can appreciate anybody, and is the type to consider every person, no matter their gender, to be every possible variation of beautiful. She's a total hippie, and loves everyone for who they are, but her romantic connections are limited to women. So, when CeCe begun dating, and then fell in love with a girl named Aliyana, she was very open about it with everybody but her parents. Somehow, she made it through two years of a relationship with the older girl without her parents finding out.
Unfortunately, CeCe's relaxed, laid back nature was what ultimately ruined her relationship for her. Seriously, if she was anymore laid back, she'd be horizontal. So, after proposing to Aliyana, and the two enjoying only about a month of being engaged, when her fiancée jumped into bed with someone else at CeCe's birthday party, claiming it was in an effort to make her jealous, CeCe was left heartbroken. Following the inevitable breakup, CeCe moved back in with her parents, who during an argument found out about her sexuality, and consequently tossed her out, telling her they never wanted to see her again. So much for her being the golden child.
Only a short amount of time has passed since her life was turned upside down; the love of her life cheated and her parents disowned her, and it's safe to say that CeCe is completely falling off the deep end. She's trying her best to be her usual chipper, upbeat, laid back self, but it's hard. Especially when she's finding comfort in the aid of alcohol, something she has always been very against considering how reliant her father is on it to get by. CeCe is losing herself, and others are losing sight of her, too. Outside of a bottle, CeCe finds solace in both her art and songwriting, another talent of hers. However, if you were to ask her, she'd tell you, in the best fake happy voice she could, that she was doing just fine. Why wouldn't she be, right?

DANI: Yo, someone misses you.
DANI: And no, that is not my way of saying I miss you.
DANI: Your dogs and cat don't miss you, either.
DANI: Someone delivered flowers and a card for you. All it says is, "I miss you."
DANI: I'm not saying this is what happens when you have sleepovers with your ex.... Oh, wait, that's exactly what I'm saying.
