//Imagine if a summoner from the battle institute was somehow sent to this current time line. All the people you saw as friends and family? Gone or don't remember you. Especially if you favored Demacian, Noxian, or Bandle champions. One city will lock you up for being a magic user, another would hunt you for sport, and third would force you back out the moment you tried to step foot inside. Sure you know alot about the various character; but it's not gonna help you at all. Might even get ya killed. Feel like certain Champions would at least know your not from this time line, but best they could do is shrug and offer you advice on where to go from here. Been wanting to write something with idea for the longest time, but I lack the time or skills to do so. Maybe one day I'll get something written down...

This is probably something so stupid to be upset about lol but I rly want advice on what to do! So I’ve always been quite shy and kept to myself up until I turned 18 about a year ago. I started going out clubbing and going to pubs etc and I’ve noticed that I seem to attract A LOT of male attention (I rly don’t mean to brag) and it’s definitely giving me a confidence boost. However the problem lies with my best friend. She’s noticed all this and actually warned me off her boyfriend? She said something along the lines of “I don’t want you talking to him or sitting next to him because you’re prettier than me and I won’t let you steal his attention” which I thought was rly unnecessary because I don’t even get along with the guy. But anyway they broke up and now when we both go out clubbing and boys start talking to me, whenever I take an interest in one of them it’s like she makes a beeline straight for him. I tell her he’s caught my eye and I want to dance wth him etc, she’ll suddenly pay attention to him and flirts. It’s happened over 6 times where I’ve went away to the toilets and come back to find her making out with the boy I’ve said I had an interest in. She’s very forceful when she comes onto the boys and I think it’s because she knows they were waiting for me. Obviously I don’t want to cause petty arguements over one night stands but I can tell she’s doing it on purpose and I don’t understand why? shes going specifically for the boys I like. One time in high school I told her that I really liked one of our male friends and the next day she decided she liked him too and invited him to hers for sex. It’s like in kindergarten when someone would steal your toy because if you want it/playing with it, they have to have it. I’ve not had a chance to get to know someone romantically in years because she instantly jumps them if I look in their direction. I feel bad saying something in case she completely denies it and I look like a fool. What do I do?

Hey, Annie! Well, congrats on coming out of your shell and feeling good about you. Some of that shyness can linger especially when it comes to conflict. Even with women who don’t have a problem with someone competing or stealing men interests, it is common to have rules set before heading out. You sit and case the place and name your territories. Those men are off limits to the rest of the group. Even if your friend is approached, she should say, “Hey, my friend is right over there. Let’s go talk.” Gosh, I know how immature this sounds but it is tough going out with anyone who has the same taste in guys as you.

Now as far as your friend going overboard with this, do you think then it is jealousy as the basis for her competition? Maybe she’s not used to you being the new you or pretty much does this with everyone. It may boost her ego...or is she just a control freak? If you think complimenting her or building her self-esteem is needed, that’s easy enough. You know as well as anyone that we truly don’t know someone’s self-image. I also see no problem bringing the subject up. “How do you see yourself?” If there’s a deep conversation that actually brings about bonding and understanding, she may become more respectful. If not, you are going to have to ask for it. She may deny it and say she can’t help that men are drawn to her but tell her you want a fair playing field and go for the rules I mentioned ahead.

You won’t want to be combative or confrontational. But, if I were you, I would also try to find a friend or friend group you can relax around and actually enjoy yourself.
