Outtake from “Found” about Midway through

I wrote this, and then the tone didn’t work with the flow of the rest of it. But it was funny to me so you guys get it.

There were downsides to being the partner of the Kwami of Emotions.

One of them that he had discovered in the short term rentals was honeymooners.

Marinette was spreading jam on a scone - a fresh scone, from her parent's bakery which he had explicitly been informed was not for him when she had arrived with the bag and Kagami.

Which had started an argument, as she had eaten his food the day before.

It had ended when Marinette had drawn herself up to her full height and retorted. "I'm eating your food while helping clean up your mess. You're not eating my food because you caused this mess."

Which had left Felix sulking slightly while everyone else enjoyed fresh baked goods.

But now, he really wanted everyone to leave. Because the newlyweds who were staying in the apartment under him were back.

Duusu had perked up, feathers flared out and giggled softly.

Marinette froze, looked at Duusu, looked at him, and then looked at the floor with something like horror.

"What's Ziggy's aspect again?" He could feel his cheeks heating.

Kagami and Adrien were watching them both, Kagami curiously and Adrien with a slight frown.

"Passion." Marinette stammered, face turning bright red on cue. "Oh no!"

Felix just covered his face, while Duusu cackled, sweeping Ziggy into a dance and singing off key in a language Felix didn't speak. 

"What is happening?" Kagami asked, puzzled.

"There's a pair of newlyweds downstairs." He had looked into everyone who lived in the building, he knew who they were and why they were there. How long they would be staying.

Adrien looked uncertain. "Marinette?"

The girl blushed an even darker red, pressing her hands over her cheeks. "The kwamis." She stuttered. 

Adrien and Kagami exchanged a look. "Are they...sharing?" Adrien asked, clearly clueless.

"Please stop question asking." Marinette squeaked. "I can't hear your voice right now. I walk a need." She stood up abruptly, escaping to the balcony.

Felix cleared his throat, gazing at the door to his bedroom with longing.

“Wait…” Adrien glanced between them, then blushed. “Um. You’re picking up...like they’re…”

“They’re having sex, Adrien.” Kagami told his cousin, sighing. “Go take a cold shower, Felix.”

Granted the reprise, he bailed immediately.
