ARTFIGHT DAY 9
A Dream of Home. REVENGE FOR DRTRIGONOMETRY
(Only one attack today, this took way longer than it should have due to my failing pressure sensitivity in my pen. LMAO)
Have a trio of adorable Outer Wilds Chibi's. These were such fun to do! 💚 🥰
I guess it's time for a bittersweet Post Nova Recoveryspar! (2024) You guys might have noticed: I love stories with adult characters being conforted by a childhood memory! In this case, I once drew Gneiss giving baby 'Spar a fish-shaped plushie (a sketch that I can't find lol) and I wanted to use it again! And now that they're sick again after coming back from Dark Bramble, they might need their buddy! Also yes, Slate and Feldspar used to share a cabin. Gossan or Hornfels wouldn't have survived living with any of them two, with the crazy projects and explosions... When Feldspar disappeared, Slate refused to touch anything related to Felds, and left everything upstairs (Feldspar's part of the cabin) to collect the dust. They tried to clean most of it when Feldspar got back. I really enjoyed drawing Slate with just a sweet face. I wanted to give them that "I really want to hug you" expression. They're just so happy to have their best bud back, and really worried about their health... and a bit guilty for thinking they were dead this whole time.
It's so satisfying seeing scientifically accurate creature designs in videogames and films.
Outer Wilds makes a fantastic job with its own world and Owlks are top tier design from a biological perspective. I just needed to prove it
(None of this has been approved as canon unless I specifically say so)
I just remembered that you don’t have to be in the APT to break the fabric of space time, so I decided to go to the weirdest spot I could think of
dont look if you havent played outer wilds
yo outer wilds fans, i know yall care a ton about spoilers but i've been stuck for so long that ive totally lost interest in playing and idk what to look for. here's my ship log thingy! is there a juicy spoiler or a specific goal i could have? i haven't had any WHOA moments so i figure i must be missing something. thanks!
ive successfully followed and matched speed with the purple escape pod(?) thingy, i spent three hours matching orbit and successfully landed on the sun station landing pad only to find you're meant to just teleport there, there's lore stuff going on about super old ancient people but i thought the point of all this was to get people to safety and that just doesn't seem to be an option. is the game just not for me or am i missing something huge ?
I got the hotshot achievement in the most wonky way
I:
- Almost crashed into Ember Twin,
- Smashed into the Sun Station so badly my ship exploded,
- Somehow survived that and procedeed to make it to the station's entrance while hitting my poor Hearthling against every single piece of debris possible, not dissimilar to a moth trying to reach a light behind a window
