Insomniac Games is shutting down Outernauts

Insomniac Games is shutting down Outernauts

On Febraury 1, Insomniac Games, developer of Ratchet & Clank, will shut down the iOS and Android versions of their Outernauts games.  The developers will close the servers around this time and since Outernauts is server based, it will be unplayable, even if you already have the game downloaded.  Insomniac will not be offering refunds and it is advised to bring refund requests to Apple or Google.

My only problem with Outernauts (aside from addiction issues and the damn confusing inventory system >>) is that your adorable baby beasts soon turn into hulking monster. But they're badass as fuck, so it evens out.

PLUS, there's in game items that let you buy back their youth at no cost to stats or abilities, which I forgot about, so I guess this post is pointless :u

At first glance, it looks like a Pokemon/Spiral Knights/shitty Facebook game combo. But it isn't. It's what Pokemon COULD be, if they finally made it an MMO. The in-game cash can be bought or earned, the creatures can be continually improved and even bred together to make interesting new, rare breeds. I am enjoying myself a LOT, and a friend or two on here makes it even better! Please consider it.

I submitted these designs to Insomniac Games' Outernauts design a beast contest and... as it turns out, I ACTUALLY WON. OMFG.

To contribute something to an Insomniac Game (he will be put into the game as a beast for people to own)! This is a huge dream of mine and I'm glad I finally managed to do it! Now all I need to do is get that internship there haha!

I will get a version of my beast when he is released in the game, and also a signed picture of him from the Insomniac team! Also 500 Star Gems (which is a premium currency used in the game).
