I really love Harmony's design of Messier! I think he's cute as a button. I had to write a fanfiction for him. How could I not? This definitely isn't my best work and I'm not a pro in bunny information, so I could've gotten some of it wrong! I tried my best. Harmony, if you're reading this, I love your work and I hope you liked my mediocre fic!

You pulled Messier along as you followed a stray bunny around the neighborhood. The bunny didn’t look afraid as they hopped along their merry way through the grass.
“W-We might scare them!” exclaimed your boyfriend in a hushed voice.
“You worry too much! If we do, then we do! They’ll move on from it,” you replied smoothly.
You trailed behind the bunny from at least a foot away. You watched as they hid behind a bush. As you and Messier tiptoed towards the bush, you realized there were baby bunnies inside of it.
Slowly, you extended your hand and the adult bunny sniffed it before they licked your hand.
“Oh my stars! Quick Messier, teleport back home and get some carrots!” you whisper-yelled. Messier nodded and blipped out of existence before reappearing back to his spot. He handed the carrot to you, but you shook your head.
“Feed them,” you urged
He shook his head vigorously. You grinned at him. You reeled your hand back as the adult bunny sniffed at their babies, nuzzling them softly. You held in a coo at the scene in front of you.
You gestured with your hand at Messier to feed them. He looked hesitant, but shuffled his way forward. Shaking, he slowly reached his gloved hand out, holding the carrot in his grasp. The bunnies sniffed at the carrot before the babies eagerly chewed on it.
You pulled your phone out of your pocket and snapped a few pictures of your boyfriend feeding the adorable animals.
“Carina is gonna be jealous~” you hummed.
Messier simply rolled his eye-lights playfully. “She won’t find out,” retorted your boyfriend.
“Oh, yeah? What if I show her this picture?” you showed him your phone. He snorted quietly in response.
Messier rolled his eye-lights again. “She won’t understand the picture. It’s not like a television where the image is moving,” he explained.
You huffed and crossed your arms in response.
The bunnies finished the carrot, and Messier pulled his hand back. You intertwined your hand with his before walking away from the animals. Messier waved at them, although they couldn’t see it.
“You’re as cute as they are~” you teased.
Blush fled to his cheekbones as he stuttered incoherently. He dismissively shook his skull at your words. You leaned close to him and pecked his cheekbone. He stared at you as if you had two heads and his yellow eye-lights changed into hearts for a brief moment.
The wind blew through his bones, making them rattle quietly. He was clad in a space-themed jacket with a purple turtleneck underneath it, and shorts with pink slippers.
“I-I’m teleporting us home!” he shouted into the air.
You giggled under your breath at his reaction.
Messier’s magic swirled around you like a snake as the world around you shifted into his bedroom. You kicked off your shoes and made his bed. His room was incredibly untidy.
A sigh left your lips as you got to work cleaning his room. You knew he wouldn’t do it anytime soon. You picked up his socks and deposited them into his hamper. You left his small tornado of several gross items alone. There was no way you’d touch that. He’s had that tornado ever since you met him.
It took a long time for Messier to grow comfortable around your presence. It took even longer to start a romantic relationship with him. Not that you minded, though.
“You don’t have to clean, y’know…” Messier’s voice trailed off.
“Does that mean you’ll do it next time?” you inquired. He nervously laughed in response. You took that as a no.
He wanted to answer, but he wisely kept his teeth shut.
Once you finished, you slid under his covers and stretched your limbs. He was already under the covers. You closed the gap between you both and nuzzled his ribcage. He nervously wrapped his skeletal arms around your waist and rested his skull on your neck.
“Goodnight, my moon,” he uttered softly before he fell asleep. It didn’t take long for you to follow suit.
