Jinu couldn't help showing his concern and becoming stern about the whole thing earlier. He was meant to lead them and take care of them so that they would thrive under his scheme.
Now his expression was softer, only a hint of the worry in his human brown eyes. He didn't move his stare off of him, even when Ro looked away to avoid the contact. Jinu saw the blush on his face, the cute way he tried to act as though it wasn't such a big deal. The words he spoke amazed the reaper, so quiet and so sheepish, despite the grand meaning that they carried. You didn't deserve anything less.
Jinu furrowed his brows at that, not able to hide the conflict he felt towards that sentiment. Why did Ro have to talk about him like he was better than he really was? Didn't he see how selfish he was? Why couldn't he stop doing foolish things for him so that he didn't have to feel this guilt pooling in his chest? The words touched his heart, nearly made him feel like he deserved it... nearly.
His gaze lingered on Romance, taking in the details of his features. His skin didn't look so clammy and grey against his pink hair, now that he had been cared for by everyone. What a relief.
With his heart full, there was no stopping his impulses now. As dumb and as rash as they may be, because he didn't yet know if he could live up to the promise that his actions were about to lay down.
Jinu twisted round to face him properly and moved further onto the bed before he leaned his entire body toward Romance. With his hands reaching down to brace himself on either side of him, Jinu stopped when he was just above him. He wondered if Ro could see the gratitude in his eyes. If he could see that Jinu understood what he had done for him. For him. How could he ignore such a grand gesture? For him... of all the pathetic demons there were to devote yourself to, he was one of the worst in Gwi-ma's eyes and yet there was Romance... doing it anyway.
Jinu had paused long enough, hovering above him like time stood still while his mind replayed the illusions cast by the Gumiho earlier. It had been incredible. Like a firework show on ecstasy. His long gaze moved from Ro's eyes to his lips, giving away where his mind was at. Then he finally acted on his impulses and leaned his head down, tilting to the side as he pressed his lips against Ro's pillowy mouth.
