1x1 plot call

i'd love to do an outlander-inspired plot, similar concept to what occurs in the show, but maybe a different period, or swap. please be 21+, plot-focused, read my pinned post.

i'd really love a partner to build on this with. i love making playlists, edits, pinterest boards, etc. i'd love to get along with my partner ooc too. this will take place on discord.

the selkie’s bride - the irish coast

genre: mythic romance, magical realism hook: a modern marine biologist (m/c) studying seal migration is dragged underwater by a storm, only to emerge in a pre-christian seaside village.

plot threads:

she’s mistaken for a selkie returned to human form.

a fisherman or clan leader (y/c), cynical but compassionate, finds her washed ashore.

old gods still wake in tide pools, and selkie courts demand tribute.

her arrival coincides with omens of a coming storm that could wipe out the village.

romantic energy: gentle, aching, tied to the rhythm of tides and choices between land and sea.

the pirate pulled through the storm - the caribbean

hook: a rogue storm during a deep-sea salvage dive pulls a maritime historian (m/c) through time - crashing her onto the deck of a sun-battered, tattooed pirate captain (y/c) from 1712. he’s as feral and dangerous as the ocean itself, and her sudden arrival throws his ship into chaos.

plot threads:

he’s a pirate captain whose curse should have killed him long ago, yet he survived, and now must protect a stranger from another time.

the 18th century is violent, lawless, and unfamiliar to her; she struggles to navigate ship life, customs, and danger.

rival crews, mutiny, and the ghosts of his lost crew threaten both their lives.

her modern knowledge, navigation, medicine, or strategy, becomes vital, forcing him to trust her despite his suspicions.

the samurai’s forbidden guest - tokugawa japan

hook: during a tokyo festival, a visiting photographer (y/c) photographs a shrine at the exact moment a centuries-old ritual is reenacted… and is thrown back to the era it originally came from.

plot threads:

he wakes up under arrest in a village that thinks he’s a foreign spy.

she defends him, reluctantly, and becomes responsible for keeping him hidden, fed, and quiet… which he is terrible at.

late-night lessons in etiquette and survival.

cultural misunderstandings, forbidden touches, and the delicate tension of attraction in a rigid, honor-bound world.
