"Go out camping they said. Have fun they said" Rhaenys mocked her family as she trudged through bushes and trees. The heat itself was not something she had anticipated and even with her dark hair in a ponytail and a tank top and shorts, she still found herself sweating behind her neck.

Rhaenys hated that her dad, mom and Lyanna had all agreed to go camping during a heatwave. She could be chilling at home right now, in a nice big ac filled house drinking ice cold water. But no, she was hiking some dumb trail and drinking lukewarm water. Daenerys and Jon were farther up ahead gossiping about Aegon and his crush on Jon's cousin Sansa so when Rhaenys lost her footing and couldn't catch herself, no one knew she had tumbled down the hill.

Groaning as she got up and clutched her familes crest necklace that she had nearly lost in the fall, thankful only the chain had broke. The three headed dragon symbol seemed unscathed unlike Rhaeneys who had some cuts on her arms and legs. Purple hued eyes focused in on her surroundings and she had swore when she had first fell she had seen a rock formation in a half circle but now...now everything looked different and less outdoorsy.

"Hello?" Rhaenys called out, eventually calling out to each member of her family before taking her phone out of her pocket and finding she didn't have any cell service. After looking around more she realized she was in an old looking building with beautiful architecture but nothing she had seen before. Rhaenys heard footsteps approach and soon she was grabbed by men in metal armor and dragged kicking and screaming away to where she did not know and thrown in front of a large chair with swords on it. Hundreds of swords. Purple eyes widened as she stared up at the woman figure. That chair...she remembered hearing about it in school and from her own father's stories of their families legacy but seeing it in person? Rhaenys was sure she was dreaming or maybe even hallucinating.

"We found this....whore wondering down the halls Your Grace." One guard said, which made Rhaenys give him a glare and she made a face of shock and outrage. "How dare you! I am not a whore. Jeez. Just cause it was hot out and im dressed to not die of heat doesn't make me a whore!" She quipped back before looking back at the woman.

         Claire Beauchamp was a peculiar woman, one that London was curiously looking at from all classes around the city. She was know for her gifted talents, even finding the much more difficult medical cases that the hospital got a horrible wrap for not finding in the first place. The hospital held a huge dislike for her, especially with how she does not overcharge and only for just normal services to keep her apothecary shop open. 

          Those that were much less fortunate she helped to ensure she saved their lives, and perhaps that is what caught everyone’s attention. She would not ask for payment if she could truly see that someone’s life was at risk. There even was gossip she was the infamous “Doctor Watkins” that offered advice on how to take care of general things in the home with certain tinctures, elixirs, herbs even. The hospital held even her worse than this man that offered radical advice that seemed too bizarre to believe. Or at least, it was until people truly took their advice and it worked.

          Claire was behind her work table that was in the middle of the shop where everyone could see her, mortar and pestle grinding her rosemary to dust until she heard the familiar bell of her front door opening and closing. Her blue eyes flash up along with a smile as she wiped her hands free of dust.

     “ Hello there, Is there something in particular you are looking for? “

    “Cerdic?” Gisela called again, quieter now. “Cerdic, if you’re trying to startle me to get back at Uhtred, so help me I will—” The trees at the base of the hill parted before her, and she was met with a much closer city than she remembered. The walls her husband had repaired from the roman base were gone. Instead, closely packed, taller buildings of brick, wattle, and daub stood. This was not her Lundene. 

     Although every inch of her screamed to turn back and see if the hill might take her back, curiosity drew her towards the city. It was much larger—and louder—than the Lundene she’d left behind, sped along by streets much more filled with people than she recalled. Everyone dressed strangely. Women topped their hair with mushroom caps and had bodies shaped into impossibly inhuman cones, like a fir flipped upside down. At the hips, the cones flared out sharper and wider than Gisela had seen before, even on the least endowed women in the streets. Men's coats puffed out their chests like ducks, with many who were far too young gone prematurely grey with strange, rolled hair. And the hose— the hose —hugged the calves and ankles tighter than even the most careful wrap of winnegas.

She didn’t quite want to admit how much she’d missed the girl. “Someone’s figured them out then? At least a little?” It wasn’t really an idea she was terribly comfortable with. The idea of someone being able to change the past if they could figure it out wasn’t a pleasant idea. They’d talked to everyone possible in this time- even stooping to asking that magician of the French queen’s. 

“I didn’t think you’d come back at all.” she laughed at the mention of the movie. “The girls will be happy to see you. They’ve gotten so big.”

Tristan didn't know whether he should look serious or start to laugh. He had to admit that this young woman was standing her ground, but he didn't have the time to listen to her reasoning. There were redcoats behind them and he didn't wish to get shot on the spot.

"I didna ask ye ta surrender, lass. Jus' ta get on ta horse, alright? Ye wanta wander around these woods at night?" He asked as he once more extended his hand to her.

Suddenly, a gun was shot not too far from them. Lucky it was already dusk and the aim was not great. Tristan ducked from his horse, giving it a slap so it would run. "Come!" He whispered in a low voice.

"Why did you do it? So stupid, why did you do it?"

“The blame falls on me this way.” They were her cousins. God knew she’d talked her way out of trouble before… they’d get bored and stop whispering sooner or later. “All I did was speak with Doctor Dee. They can’t prove we’ve been up to anything. Mary will forgive me; she’s always done it before. I can plead my belly until her temper has blown over.”

What was more disheartening was the fact Elizabeth’s astrologer had never heard of people coming through stones- except in old songs. That hardly constituted proof.

She had almost been late to work. Again. Lauyrn scrambled into her car trying to calm herself down so she didn’t get into a wreck as she rushed to her new job and her new assignment. It’d been two months since she had been back in England since visiting her father in Scotland. She was supposed to be boarding a plane to London and if she didn’t hurry up her boss would kill her if she missed the opportunity to talk to the new CEO of some big corporation. 

The plane landed and she had met with the CEO. It’d been a good visit and he agreed to the terms of the contract. She thought it was going to take longer so she decided to go sight see. But as she was visiting a few tourist sights for fun she ventured off the beaten path and found a set of stones. It reminded her of Stonehenge, only less rocks and more simple. A gust of wind was felt and she hard an odd buzzing sound as she drew closer to one of the stones, placing her hand on it she felt a sudden helplessness as she fell into blackness, waking up near the stones but she didn’t hear the sounds she had heard earlier, it was eerily quiet and she pulled out her phone to see it had no service. Hadn’t she had service just minutes before she passed out?

Lauyrn scrambled to her feet as she heard the sounds of hooves on the ground and she followed the sound, hoping she could find some help and maybe get back to her hotel room. “Hello?” She called out, dusting the dirt off of her pants and shirt as she looked around for the horse and it’s rider.
